„Uns hat die Unterkunft sehr gefallen. Dies lag vor allem daran, dass man mitten in der Natur ist und es einfach total grün ist. Der Garten ist sehr schön. Die Terasse ist klasse, dort kann man super essen, während Vögel und Geckos da sind. Zu erwähnen ist auch, dass es nachts Geräusche durch Frösche gibt, was wir klasse fanden, aber sehr laut ist und es dahwr ggf Personen geben könnte, die dies stört. „We were using this place as a base, from which we explored the eastern half of Big Island. For us as a family of 4, it was a great place, which provided an individual room for both of our kids. We also really enjoyed the provided snorkelling gear and beach equipment. Communication with the hosts was very good. Our only minor point of concern during our stay was that the washing machine had broken down prior to our arrival and wasn't available to us, but we managed without.“

„Wer eine ruhige, schöne Unterkunft mit tollen Gastgebern sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Auf einem tollen Grundstück gelegen, ist es nur durch eine sehr wenig befahrene Küstennebenstraße vom Meer getrennt. Zur steinigen Küste mit vielen Schildkröten und spektakulären Wellen sind es nur wenige Schritte. Lava-Ponds (einer davon etwas versteckt zugänglich direkt rechts vom Haus) zum Planschen oder entspannen im Meerwasser ebenso direkt in der Nähe. Nächste Strände 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt ...

"Der Bereich der Lobby und die in diesem Bereich integrierte Bar, inklusive des hervorragenden Ausblicks sind das einzige was bemerkenswert war. Der Schock trat ein als wir das Zimmer (Eckzimmer in der 5. Etage mit Blick aufs Meer) beraten. Es gab wohl irgendwann einmal Bilder an den Wänden, die jetzt fehlten, dafür waren wunderschöne Dübellöcher zu bewundern. Die Wände war verdreckt und gefühlt vor Jahren da Leute Mal gestrichen wurden. Alle Griffe klebten, was von mangelnder Reinigung zeugt, die Führungen der Schiebetüren waren vollkommen verdreckt, u.v.a.m. Es gibt nur ein Restaurant, das den Eindruck einer ehemaligen großen Garage vermittelt, wenn es regnet gibt es kaum eine Chance Zeichen in Hauptgebäude zu gelangen, da der Weg kaum überrascht ist. Es gibt den Zimmerservice nur gegen Zuzahlung, muss beim Check-in angegeben und bezahlt werden. Der Parkplatz kostet 40 Dollar pro Nacht. Alles in allem ein ganz großer Reinfall. Ich habe ca. 60-80 Hotelübernachtungen weltweit pro Jahr und glaubte fast alles gesehen zu haben, aber man lernt immer wieder etwas dazu. Leider lässt diese App, trotz des entsprechenden Buttons keine Unterstützung von Bildern zu."
