Perfect Location for Staying in Mystic

We got a chance to see Mystic after dark. It was amazing. All the Christmas lights. No crowds. A memorable time with my daughter.

Great location!

This home is in the perfect location and so walkable to the main drag of Mystic. We had a lovely weekend! 4 adults and 2 children. The house is great, and comfortable. Its an older home with tons of charm, but updated nicely. The ammenities were awesome! Coffee, linens, extra pillows and blankets. Having both front and back porches was a great perk as well.

Fall Break

We were with our daughter and granddaughter who is a freshman at Wesleyan University. The VRBO is a short distance from Sift, a local bakery and downtown Mystic. It was in an ideal location for us to explore Mystic.

Very good

This is an historically old duplex, which has been remodeled. It is a with comfortable. It is close to restaurants, shopping, and museums. The fabulous Mystic Seaport Museum complex is about a mile away through a very chic, old town shopping and eating district. A really good breakfast and lunch place is a block away. Excellent dining is maybe 100' away. One can sit on the porch and watch the boats...

Adorable house, perfect location!

This is a charming, historic 2 bedroom house with views of the water and a balcony overlooking the street where you can enjoy morning coffee or an evening drink. The inside is nicely renovated with a new modern kitchen and bath and washer/dryer, plus TVs in both bedrooms and a large screen in the living room. The a/c works well. The location is unbeatable--a short walk to Main Street, and near all the best shops and restaurants, plus there's parking for two cars at the house. We barely had to use our car, though, because nearly everything we wanted to see except the Aquarium is within walking distance. Highly recommend!

Vintage Cool!

Mystic charm

“Newport charm” is what we called it in Newport when living in historic old houses with creaky crooked floors, narrow steep stairs, and unique eclectic architecture. So with that said this property definitely qualifies as “Mystic charm”. We loved it and would stay again. The host was very responsive and helpful. There was an issue with the kitchen faucet not being securely mounted to the sink but since we were staying only one night it wasn’t a hardship. Walking proximity to all you would want in the village and private parking for two vehicles plus tips on other free parking nearby. This is an excellent value!

Wonderful location

The location was perfect for walking to downtown Mystic and viewing the lighted boat parade. The walk to shops and restaurants was even shorter than we expected, and the river is right across the street. It was also just a short drive to the seaport museum, aquarium, and village shops. It is a historic old home with sloped floors and a steep staircase, but is very well maintained and updated. Kevin responded very quickly and provided lots of information. We would highly recommend staying here!

Great Location

Great location and comfortable home. We enjoyed great restaurants and visited some cool shops. Enjoyed Mystic Seaport Museum. We used Uber a few times because it was raining, had friendly drivers. I would definitely visit again.

Historic Mystic property

We loved the historic character of this house, as well as the location. As others have noted, the stairs are steep and the only bathroom is upstairs. Check in and check out was very easy.

Perfect Location!

We loved our stay here. Kevin was a great communicator, the location is in walking distance of downtown Mystic (and not too far from the Seaport Museum either!) and the house had everything we needed. We would stay here again.

"Old" girlfriends weekend

Myself and two of my oldest girlfriends were looking for an attractive, clean and convenient place to stay in Mystic - one where we could walk safely to shopping, dining, bars etc. Boy did we find it...we will be back again and have already referred it to a few friends.

Excellent!

The birth of another spring in Mystic, CT! What's not to love? This property is absolutely charming and a few minutes' walk from everything Mystic has to offer. We felt right at home the minute we walked in and were teary-eyed when we closed the door for the final time. Our host, Kevin, was most gracious and generous. His communication is excellent and his genuine concern for our comfort and welfare was most welcome. We most certainly will do this again and hopefully right here!

Great short stay

This was a great location for our short staycation in Mystic and the surrounding area. It’s walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and the drawbridge ( and ice cream!). And, it’s a pretty easy car ride to RI coastline. This was my first VRBO rental, so I can’t really compare to others, but everything was as described in the listing. I would recommend to almost anyone with the exception of anyone with mobility issues. There are fairly rickety stairs to the front entryway and also a staircase to the only bathroom in the apartment. This didn’t impact my own stay, but I do know those that would struggle with that setup. Overall, it was perfect for what we were looking for.

Great getaway!

We enjoyed this cozy home in the heart of Mystic. Perfect place to unwind and re-charge. Great restaurants and shops all within walking distance. Can't wait to go back.

Nice house near the center of Mystic

This is a nice older house across the street from a marina. It is very easy walking distance to the center of town and just far enough to be out of the biggest part of the downtown bustle. There was a decent size kitchen/dining area and a pantry with a washer/dryer. The furniture was comfortable. We had a great time. It is an older home so those more interested in the most modern accommodations. would be better off elsewhere. For us it was perfect.

Perfect location!

We celebrated our wedding Anniversary in Mystic. The location was ideal as we walked to restaurants, shopping, and the Seaport! We visited friends that have their boat in the Marina across the street. Our unit was very clean and comfortable for 4 adults. Kevin was a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend this unit!
