It appears that the house was built to be a summer getaway, so it is pretty basic and no frills and comes with all the creaks and quicks of an older house. The living room is perfect for hanging out and the four chairs make it easy to rearrange to suit your needs. „This place was great! Loved eating on the covered deck and the home itself was very lovely very clean! Only knock I can give it was the second bathroom shower didn't have hot water but the kids showered in the master so no biggie. Whole property had a beach vibe and that was great because I'm originally from Newport. We were in town for a memorial service so didn't get to see much of the beach or anything like that but will most certainly like to stay again A+ 5*“

„I absolutely loved this spot. I had such a great time and I actually miss it! I especially love the trails behind the inn. I had no idea that it was Pequot territory. It is really marvelous. Great to walk on. Not too hard, not too easy, tons of history, and a real sense of the sacred nature of Lantern Hill. I highly recommend.“
