Overall contact with the host was good, easy to get along wit, shared information and answered questions with ease. The property with location near the lake was good and the home itself was very spacious. Each family was able to have a room which was big enough with a bathroom each (3/4 bedrooms). The cleanliness of the property was disappointing, when we walked in we could tell the place was not clean (the gas stove had remains from cooking from previous people and floors still had snacks and things in the corners which was really disappointing as we were coming with children ages 1-9 and ended up coming in and having to clean the place ourselves. The property outside was beautiful however not well kept cleanliness wise - there was still items from renovations and things outside which was a bit of a safety concern. The neighbours were not too thrilled to find out that the property is now a rental property so they did give our group a hard time and was constantly messaging the host with complaints. It felt like they were trying to build their case to shut the rental process down. As a result the host did message us about concerns the neighbours had although we were mindful of them. The host did do her best to try and maintain the peace between host and guests. The last day we were there the water in the whole house did run out. We had to use the jugs of water that was provided to take cold baths and get ready - not ideal with 8 adults and 7 kidsPet friendly
