„What a lovely surprise! As responsible pet owners travelling with our pooch, we have grown to reluctantly accept second-rate rooms and substantial extra nightly cost to have him with us at "pet friendly" motels. Not so here! Modern well maintained rooms, a genuine welcome for us and Rusty, and a beautifully restful environment away from the Hume Fwy trucks! What's more, we enjoyed a hearty and tasty meal at the pub next door.
We are definitely making this our new Melb/Sydney road trip overnight ...
„We had a wonderful stay. The host was friendly and welcoming, and kindly provided wood for the fire. We loved that it was dog-friendly, and the fresh eggs from the chickens were a fantastic breakfast treat. The place was clean, cozy, warm, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended!“
„This property, while looking like a typical motel style is such a pleasant surprise. Our room 12a was a spacious, clean, well equipped room with plenty of inclusions, eg extra pillows, blankets, towels, breakfast provisions, fly spray and a great camp kitchen with everything you need to cook a meal. Camp kitchen also has indoor and outdoor seating. Excellent communication with staff and location to silo art and Lake Tyrrell made this a great stop.“
„The team at Charlton Motel were very accomodating with a very late check-in everything was organised for my arrival. The motel is pet friendly for a small additional fee which is fantastic. My little poodle had a great time. Rooms are neat, clean, well presented and comfortable. A great stop over on a long trip or a great base to explore the local area.“
„Very picturesque. The room was large with a comfortable bed and two comfortable armchairs. The bathroom was adequate but the mirror placement is a bit awkward for ladies though there is a larger mirror within the closet door. Quite clean with coffee and tea available and a generous fruit bowl. The split system was great and it is very quiet spot. The owner was very warm and welcoming as well as helpful with directions. “
