BEWARE - LISTING IS INACCURATE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABSENT/RUDE
I had quite the working vacation here. I had to contact Vacasa several times a day for problems with my rental. Overall it was mostly bad luck, but made SO MUCH worse by the indifferent customer service and being IGNORED by the local team. You have NO ability to contact the actual person who owns this rental.Day1 - NO internet, Vacasa knowingly puts crappy routers in their rentals; someone had to come and switch back to the owner's router.Day 2 - We find out there's no fire pit, as listed. We rented this place to have a birthday party for my sister around the fire pit; that never happened. We asked where it was and were told it was in the back yard, as if we hadn't checked there. Then we were told it was in the garage (it wasn't). We were told we'd get a partial refund but I am still waiting to get more info about this.We were given ONE 13 gal trash bag for our 6 day stay with 3 people. We didn't realize this until after 2 trips to the store. It's in the middle of nowhere, we were told to go buy more. Every time I've stayed at a VRBO there's been at least 1 more trash bag under the sink, so this was pretty lame. Day 3 - NO batteries in the remote needed for the TV.Day 4 - We realize there's no hair dryer as listed in the listing. LOCKED OUT and told to 'be patient' and hush up! SO RUDE. I was understandably VERY upset at this point, after DOZENS of emails and several phone calls all week. Not enough room for my full review. RENT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
