Escape to Hidden Haven Villa, a peaceful forest retreat set on a large private property in beautiful Mulmur, Ontario. Surrounded by mature trees and fresh country air, the villa offers a relaxing countryside escape for families, couples, small groups, and nature lovers.

Inside, enjoy comfortable living spaces, fast Wi-Fi, a dedicated workspace, and a fully equipped chef’s kitchen for meal preparation. A separate display kitchen is available for beverages and is not intended for cooking.

Outside, enjoy the private seasonal heated pool, gazebo, BBQ area, fire pit, outdoor shower, and spacious grounds. Whether you’re relaxing by the pool, enjoying a quiet morning among the trees, or gathering around the fire in the evening, the property offers plenty of space to unwind and enjoy the outdoors.

Important Guest Information

Occupancy & Sleeping Arrangements:
The home accommodates up to 6 overnight guests in the 3 bedrooms, with 2 king beds and 1 queen bed.
• With prior approval, up to 3 additional guests may be accommodated on floor mattresses. Additional guest fees may apply.

Two Kitchens: Please Read Before Cooking

The villa has two separate kitchens, each serving a different purpose:

1. Main-Area / Display Kitchen
The kitchen located in the main living area is primarily a display and beverage kitchen and is not intended for full meal preparation or cooking. Please do not use this kitchen for regular cooking.

2. Chef’s Kitchen/For All Cooking and Meal Preparation
For cooking and preparing meals, please use the Chef’s Kitchen. This is the designated kitchen for meal preparation and is equipped with:
•The Chef’s Kitchen uses an induction cooktop
• Induction-compatible pots and pans
• Cookware and essential cooking equipment
• Dishes, plates, bowls and serving items, cups and glasses, cutlery and utensils

Important: The induction-compatible pots and pans are located in the cabinet directly underneath the induction cooktop. Please use these cookware items with the induction stove.

Oven: Simple Automatic Operation

The oven in the Chef’s Kitchen has been configured for automatic temperature operation for safety and to make it simple to use.

You do not need to manually set the oven to its maximum temperature.

Simply select the desired cooking function, such as: Bake, Broil, or the appropriate cooking method for your meal

The oven will automatically operate up to the maximum temperature permitted by its programmed setting for the selected function.

Please allow the oven to complete its normal heating cycle before placing food inside when preheating is required.

Refrigerator Use:
The side-by-side Samsung refrigerator in the display kitchen is intended for beverages.

For food and meal ingredients, please use the larger French-door KitchenAid refrigerator located in the Chef’s Kitchen.

This arrangement helps keep the two kitchen areas organized and ensures that food preparation takes place in the designated cooking area.

💦🏊‍♀️Seasonal Heated Pool:
The outdoor swimming pool is open seasonally from May 15 to September 15.

🤔🤔Pool Setting & Recommended Hours:
Our pool is nestled deep within a natural forest setting, where surrounding trees and shade can make the pool area feel noticeably cooler than a typical residential pool with open sun exposure. The pool temperature is maintained at 23°C (73°F).

🛀🚿Guests are asked to shower before entering the pool, avoid glassware and food around the pool area, wear appropriate swimwear, and keep noise respectful, particularly in the evening.

Diving Board:
Please note that the diving board shown in some of the property photos has been permanently removed. After multiple incidents involving guests playing roughly around the diving board, we made the decision to remove it entirely to prioritize the safety and well-being of all guests.

🤫🤫Quiet Hours & Outdoor Lighting
Quiet hours begin at 11:00 PM. Please be considerate of the surrounding area and keep outdoor noise to a minimum after this time.

Outdoor lights automatically turn off at 12:00 AM to help maintain a peaceful environment and reduce disturbance to the surrounding area.

Pets, Parties, Smoking & Candles:
❌ Pets are not permitted.

❌Parties and events are not permitted.

❌Smoking, vaping, and e-cigarettes are not permitted inside the home or on the balcony. Smoking is permitted only in the designated outdoor area near the fire pit.

❌Candles are not permitted inside the home.

❌Electric Vehicles:
Electric vehicle charging is strictly prohibited on the property:
• Electric vehicle and Tesla charging is not available at the property.
• Guests may not use property outlets, adapters, plug converters, extension cords, or other equipment to charge an electric vehicle.
• The home’s electrical system is not designed for vehicle charging, and unauthorized charging may cause electrical issues, excessive electricity use, or damage. Guests may be responsible for resulting costs or damage.

Septic System:
The home uses a private septic system. Please flush toilet paper only, in moderate amounts.

❌Paper towels, wipes, feminine hygiene products, tissues, medications, and other items must be placed in the garbage and not flushed.

Children & Baby Equipment:
• Hidden Haven is primarily designed and equipped with adult guests in mind; however, children are welcome to stay. Please note that the property does not provide baby or toddler equipment such as a crib/playpen, high chair, safety gate, stroller, changing table, or other child-specific equipment.

BBQ
The outdoor BBQ is available for guest use. Guests are responsible for following the provided safety instructions and leaving the BBQ in a reasonably clean condition after use.

Optional Mid-Stay Services:
For stays of 3 nights or longer, optional mid-stay services are available upon request and must be scheduled in advance:
• Interior mid-stay cleaning: $175 CAD
• Pool & outdoor pool-area service: $250 CAD
• Complete mid-stay service: $400 CAD

The complete service includes both interior cleaning and pool/outdoor pool-area service. Timing is coordinated around the guest’s schedule to minimize disruption.

Pool & Property Care
Guests are asked to use the pool, outdoor equipment, and property amenities responsibly and follow all posted safety instructions. Rough play, misuse of equipment, or activities that could cause damage are not permitted.

Important Information Before Booking

We want you to feel at home and enjoy a relaxing, memorable stay. Hidden Haven is a luxury, thoughtfully curated space, and we kindly ask guests to treat the home, furnishings, décor, and amenities with care and respect.

💦 A Little Heads-Up About the Pool:

Please note this is a heated swimming pool, not a hot tub. Because the pool is an in-ground pool surrounded by forest and natural shade, it can feel cooler than an in-ground pool in a typical residential setting, even when both are maintained at the same temperature.

❌For this reason, we kindly ask that you please keep this in mind and not reach out requesting an increase in the pool temperature. We recommend enjoying the pool between 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., when the area receives the most sunlight and warmth.

Pool Ladder:
The portable insert-style pool ladder must remain in its designated position during normal use. Guests must not lift, remove, reposition, or tamper with the ladder.

If the ladder ever needs to be removed or repositioned, this will be handled by our staff. Unauthorized movement may damage the pool liner or surrounding equipment, and guests may be responsible for resulting damage.

Indoor Fireplace:
• The indoor fireplace is available for limited use during the colder months but is not available during the summer season.

• The home is fully heated and cooled by a geothermal system. When the indoor fireplace is used continuously, the heat it produces can cause the geothermal system to automatically reduce or stop its heating operation because the system senses that the indoor temperature is already sufficiently warm. For this reason, the fireplace is intended for occasional, limited use rather than continuous operation.

• For safety and to protect the fireplace and home, only the specific firewood provided or approved by the property may be burned in the indoor fireplace. Guests are not permitted to bring or use firewood from outside the property.

• Approved firewood is available for purchase from the property, but it must be pre-arranged before your arrival. If you would like to use the indoor fireplace during your stay, please let us know in advance so the appropriate firewood can be prepared for your arrival.

❌Technical & Electrical Equipment
Guests are strictly prohibited from entering the technical/mechanical room or accessing, changing, resetting, or tampering with any electrical panels, breakers, wiring, switches, pool equipment, or other technical systems.

If any issue or adjustment is needed, please contact the host first. The host will arrange any necessary assistance or changes.

Guests are fully responsible for any damage or costs resulting from unauthorized access, tampering, or modifications

Care of the Home:
Many elements of the home have been preserved or thoughtfully curated over time. Guests are kindly asked to treat the furnishings, décor, equipment, pool, and outdoor amenities with care and respect.
