"I had a pleasant stay at Shilla Stay Guro. The room was on the smaller side, but that’s to be expected in a major city like Seoul — it was still well-organized and functional. The bathroom was excellent: modern, spotless, and with a great shower. Overall, the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. One downside was the air conditioning. Although there was a thermostat in the room, the temperature seemed centrally controlled, and I wasn’t able to cool the room properly. It stayed around 25–26°C, which was too warm for comfortable sleep. To their credit, the front desk provided a fan, which helped a bit. Despite the A/C issue, I would still recommend the hotel for short stays, especially if you’re looking for something clean and reliable in a convenient location."

"Preis-Leistung absolut ok. Das Hotel nicht nicht weit von der Metro-Linie 2 entfernt. Diese Linie ist eine Ringlinie, sodass man Verbindung zu den anderen Linien hat. Was mir nicht so gefallen hat, war der Preis für das Frühstück. Fast 20 Euro fand ich nicht angemessen. Zudem ich vorher in einem 4 Sterne Hotel in Seoul für 3 Wochen war und dort nur 11 Euro bezahlt habe. Aber nun, das ist Firmenpolitik."

"Das Hotelzimmer war sehr ruhig und schön eingerichtet. Das Zimmer sowie das Badezimmer waren sauber und ordentlich. Die Aussicht war traumhaft. Es gab nur ein wenig Staub auf den Lichtschaltern und hinter dem Spiegel, was allerdings verkraftbar war. Die Zwischentür vom Badezimmer und Schlafzimmer hatte leider auf dem Boden geschliffen und war etwas schwierig zu öffnen. Das war tatsächlich nicht so toll. In der Dusche hat sich die Gummilippe an der Tür gelöst, sodass während dem Duschen das Wasser aus der Dusche gelaufen ist. Für mich persönlich war das Bett auch etwas zu hart, das ist jedoch Geschmacksache und muss jeder für sich selbst entscheiden. Ansonsten gab es hier nichts auszusetzen. Das Personal und die Reinigungskraft waren außerdem sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich kann dieses Hotel jedenfalls mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen!"

"Thank you for hosting us. The Apollo is a very cute place for a small budget. Especially, the service was incredible and the hosts were very courteous. The surrounding is very quite and has a lot of food places. The BBQ right next to our accommodation is highly recommended. Besides of that, you can tell that the building is quite old and not in a good condition anymore, which is very unfortunate. Also the extractor in the bathroom is very dirty."
