„Adorable Tiny Digs! We thought we’d give it a try. Cute tiny trailers built and decorated into tiny themed rooms. Just a different “little” experience for a one night stay near the Hawthorne neighborhood in Portland. Lots of cute little PROs and not too many CONs. PROs; Our tiny digs (Merlot) was clean, cute, very comfortable. You’re in a locked, fully fenced, secure lot in case you’re worried about that. Tons of great restaurants around in walking distance. Zimmer sind sehr gut durchdacht, wir haben uns (4 köpfige Familie) bei unserem 2 tägigen Portlandaufenthalt sehr wohl gefühlt. “

„One night of my stay was open mic night at the event space on ground. Very noisy until pretty late. This hotel is an interesting historical rehab. I was told it had been open about 3 years and had last been used at the turn of the 20th century. I like the preservation of the feel of the place although it was located in a somewhat rundown area. Portland’s Pearl Distruct and downtown are very walkable though and I never felt unsafe. “

Das Frühstück im angrenzenden Restaurant was abwechslungsreich und schmackhaft. Leider hat sich im kleinen Park vor dem Hotel eine Drogenszene etabliert. Tagsüber sorgen Sicherheitskräfte dafür, dass das nicht Überhand nimmt, aber leider wird man immer wieder einmal "Augenzeuge" beim Dealer oder wenn sich die Junkies ihren Schuss setzen. “
