„This is an old building. It reminds me of the one that the homeless people stay in in downtown Portland. Apparently, if you use the toilet paper in your room, they charge you an amenity fee. Lots of stairs. There are lots of other places to stay.“

„My favorite hotel in Portland Me and my kids have stayed at about 14 different hotels in Portland over the years. Our favorite was the Ritz Carlton for a long time until we stayed here. The property is kept in very good condition, excellent valet, easy check in, clean room, comfortable beds, lovely coffee shop, and helpful staff. This place has a very calming atmosphere. „Getting in the property through the main door can be challenging (steps and doors are in the way when you are carrying luggage) but we found out that there a door on the side which is a lot easier to get in. Overall very nice, the room was some smaller than expected. We had a nice time at the spa. Definitely recommended if you stay in Hood River.“
