„This cabin is comfortable , clean and cozy and the hosts have thought of everything. The location is quiet but an easy drive to Stone Mountain (and the BRP when it reopens). The deck is beautiful and the hot tub was wonderful after a day of hiking. The fire pit was a great place to unwind with drinks and talk. We opted to sleep in the smaller upstairs bedroom. „This little place was perfect for my husband and myself for a couple days when we needed to be in the area. We worked during the day but loved coming back to the house in the evenings and sitting on the porch listening to the birds, watching the shadow rise over the mountain as the sun went down and watching the fireflies come out. „This cabin is a work of art with bark siding, copper sinks, and windows that offer magical views of the forest. You can tell that the cabin was built as a passion project by someone who knows what they are doing and has an artistic flare and a focus to details. The hot tub is built on a platform on the edge of the mountain. I felt like I was in the rainforest in Costa Rica. Very luxurious! “

View is spectacular and we just sit for hours watching the river flow by. „This house was amazing! It was the best cabin I have ever stayed in. The location was secluded on the river. You really never have to leave the house with all of the amenities provided. Fireplace, game room, hot tub, hammock. And the adoreable town of West Jefferson is only around 18 minutes away. We went to Grayson Hoghlands 30 minutes away for a hike and saw the wild ponies. Wonderful stay“

„Sitting on the deck we could hear the sounds of rustling wind thru trees, the flowing New River below, and birdsong. Nothing else. An occasional car, some cleanup noise from the hurricane. Otherwise, Utter silence.The cabin was tidy, with all necessary items for our stay, the owner very helpful, a great place for a get away. The solitude was cathartic! Will visit again.“
