„The ac was was so loud we couldn't use it. The sheets were not clean on the bed... if they were clean then they were grossly stained. The bed was also hard and clanked with every movement you made. The desk chair was broke and wouldn't raise up to the desk at all. Ended up not even sleeping there. Only good thing there was the kind lady at the desk.“

„I am extremely disappointed in this hotel, Astoria North Extended Stay 1030 Piney Forest Rd, Danville, VA, 24540. I got two rooms. Both rooms have dirty and soiled carpets; the bathtubs are dingy; one of the refrigerators was stained with some kind of liquid and one of them have roaches. I requested nonsmoking rooms but both rooms smelled like smoke and reeked of a bad odor. A horrible experience. „Room was disgusting, walked in and a painting was broken on the floor behind one of the beds, cigarette butts under the bed and hair and discarded food in random spots. This was a cheap stay but I think next year I’d rather go somewhere else than stay in this dirty ashtray.“

„We didn't know what to expect. This place was up to it's high rating. Julia and the rest of the staff were very accommodating! The place was renovated into the hotel Teo years ago and still feels brand new. The a/c was the quietest we have ever experienced!! There is one of the coolest little markets next door along with some other places to eat that we will try the next time. Loved the waterfalls and casino close by.“

„I’ve seen jail cells in third world countries cleaner than this dive! I needed a dry place to escape from the rain while traveling on my motorcycle,which is the only reason I stayed. I wouldn’t even take a shower in this dump. Toilet paper filling a hole in the window. God knows what running down the wall. Expedia should remove this property from the site. Did I mention the working girls!“

„The property overall is top notch. I was pleased with my King suite, and had a nice view of the property overseeing the pool. The casino was a lot of fun. The staff does well to keep the game floor clean. Service could be improved at the cash center during busy hours, but the staff were all super friendly. I got a 80 min relaxation massage at the spa, and really enjoyed the steam room and sauna. The pool was fantastic. I enjoyed all the meals from 3 Stacks. I do not recommend Ramsays Kitchen. I ...

„Wir waren etwas enttäuscht, weil die Aggregate der Klimaanlage sehr geräuschvoll waren und auch im Zimmer zu hören waren als unangenehmer Dauerton. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer war noch lauter und man hatte die Wahl zwischen stickiger Luft oder Rattern. Rein optisch war das Zimmer sehr ansprechend und auch die Außenanlage war schön. Allerdings war der Swimmingpool schon abgedeckt, obwohl das Wetter noch gut war.“
