„Loved the house itself. The only downsize was the street the house is on is extremely busy till late at night. We had a wedding the next day and it was difficult getting a good nights sleep. The house was clean and quaint. Once I used my brown noise app on my phone, it was easier to block out the noise from the traffic and finally get a good night sleep. “

„This is a great spot for exploring Gettysburg. It is walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and cafes. It is also a very short drive to the battlefield. It was very cool staying in a building that was original to the Civil War. You are basically staying in the attic because it is up two flights of stairs. We didn’t mind this at all but just a heads up if you struggle with steps. My only complaint is the bedroom with one bed can get very warm if you shut the door. The host does provide a ...

„We loved the place as soon as we walked in. It was very clean and comfortable. The bedrooms were large enough for luggage. The kitchen was well stocked with room to put our stuff in the pantry cupboard. There was plenty of DVDs and games. „We were in town for a wedding, so we added an extra day to explore Harrisburg. The house I chose is river front and at the end of a quiet street. The location could not have been any better, 2 miles from downtown, with a wonderful river view. We spent the day walking along the river and enjoying the nearby park, historical monuments and the local restaurants. The house is older but quaint.
