„Away from the hustle and bustle of busy tourist spots. Lacking amenities as it is an older building with very comfortable and clean accommodations. No hair dryer and minimal lighting and plug ins, but so worth the location and comfort. The market has the best prices lobster meals. Check the hours of the store before arriving as we missed out on that benefit. Would love to return! “

„Our family of 4 grandma enjoyed this well-appointed, well-stocked home. We cooked a couple of meals with ease. The house is situated on a busy road, but a large buck and porcupine greeted us one night! We followed the fireplace directions assiduously but unsuccessfully. There is a smaller rental in the backyard, but we were not disturbed by that fact. It’s a short drive to magnificent Acadia. “

„We had a wonderful stay at the farmhouse! The location was very convenient for all of our activities and served and a perfect base to explore all the area has to offer. We loved the full kitchen so we could cook instead of going out each night. We would certainly stay again if we travel back to the area. “

„The cabin is even better than advertised. Every time we turned around we were impressed with things we weren’t expecting to find. Very well stocked kitchen, amazing views from the shore and dock, plenty of activities to do just at the house. Tim, the host, is very quick to respond, super nice and accommodating. It is a very nice central location to everything you want to do on MDI. We absolutely loved our stay!!“

„Bill and his wife were very down to earth, awesome people! My kids loved playing with their dog Murray! Bar Harbor was about 15 minutes away from the home, and everything else was very close to the house as well! Overall great location and stay!! “

"Überraschenderweise eines unserer Hotel-Highlights gewesen - und dies völlig unerwartet. Sehr schöne Zimmer und Bäder, und Wasserdruck in der Dusche, wie man das in USA sonst nicht kennt. Essen (Abendessen und Frühstück) waren gut - nicht top, aber gut. Ansonsten sehr schön gelegen und wirklich empfehlenswert. "
