„We rented this house during a dance competition that was being held at a local high school. The competition was about 15 minutes away so this location fit perfectly. Upon checking into the house, we were very surprised at the amount of steps to get to the house and that that was not listed initial listing. „The stay was to be able to attend my Moms 97th. birthday party.Great host with instant responses when I needed to know anything.Comfortable, clean & convenient.Nice kitchenware & plenty of towels.If I have the need in the future, I would not hesitate to stay again.“

„We weren’t sure which unit to go to, but one of the neighbors pointed us in the right direction. The home was nice and had everything we needed. If you have accessibility issues, the spiral staircase could be something to make note of. But we were all ok with using it. When it snowed, someone cleared the parking lot in a timely manner, that was nice“

„A classic old house. Very nice host and good communication. Can’t beat the location as you can walk right to Main Street in Madison. “

„Completely redone/new. We think it may have just been done, because there were sparse kitchenware. Enough for two, and we managed to cook, but definitely needs an upgrade as far as pots, pans, utensils and dishware. Keep in mind there is no yard, so if you bring pets plan on going to Hopatcong State Park (three minute drive) to walk them. Also, it’s on a hill and the dock and lake are only accessible by many steep steps. “

„We enjoyed our stay at this condo. There was plenty of space for us to hang out and sleep. We used the kitchen a lot and for the most part it was well equipped. We could have used more things like larger bowls to mix things or for chips. The downstairs bathroom shower could also use a curtain so that the water doesn’t get everywhere. The condo was easy to find and check in. The owner reached out to make sure we were good which was nice. Overall our family was happy with the unit “

„brought my son and his friend to the area for a mtb race... needed to change my existing reservation because of an improper listing and found Mike's place on a very short notice. he was very accommodating and got us set up with his place very quickly. would book his house again. “

„This was a wonderful place to visit with family. It was well stocked and very comfortable and just beautiful. Planning to come back again this fall. Only problem was the many steps down to the house. We did okay but could be difficult for anyone who can’t do stairs. “

„We had a wonderful Easter weekend here! The place was spacious, peaceful, and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing. The kitchen was well-equipped, the outdoor space was lovely, and the views and sunsets were stunning. It was incredibly quiet, which made it feel like a true getaway.The owner was fantastic, responsive, thoughtful, and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Check-in was easy, and he made us feel very welcome. Overall, an excellent experience. Highly recommend!“

„My step daughter lives in NJ and this is our new go to place to stay! SO CLEAN, well appointed with everything you need and more. We found everything the owner says is available on the property to be true and of nice quality. She's very responsive and it's obvious she wants her guests to have a nice time at her property. Nice quiet neighborhood close to the lake and stores. You won't be disappointed. “

„This house was a great find! We were attending a wedding at Lake Hopatcong and instead of staying in a bunch of hotel rooms, we choose this home. Four spacious bedrooms, extra beds for additional guests and everything we needed to enjoy being together as a family. Having to travel from North Carolina, my husband and I had to work remotely one day during our stay. The bedrooms upstairs had nice desk space to accommodate private space for us to work. „Overall our time spent at this home was great! It was the perfect place for all of our friends to meet up for labor day weekend and reconnect after some of us have moved away. The pond wasn't very swimmable - the water plants were so tall they were touching the surface/just beneath the surface from the bottom of the pond and it was quite shallow. Was fine for us to float on but again, not really swimmable. The home owner was quick to respond when the front door automatic lock wasnt working ...

"Miete kassieren ist keine Wartung! Schöner Balkon... leider mit zugeschraubter Tür. Dafür fehlen die Dichtungen drumrum und durch die 3cm Lücken war es gut am ziehen. Die 2 Zimmer Karten 4 mal neu programmieren lassen... Taten immer nur nen paar mal dann gingen sie nicht mehr. Das hintere Treppenhaus ließ einem dem Atem stocken. Aber die Umgebung war traumhaft. Viel grün Wald und Bäume. "

"Since we had a very late flight to New York, it was clear from the start that we wouldn't arrive at the hotel until after midnight. I had to call twice and write three emails before I got a reasonable answer. We arrived at the hotel at around 2:00 am. A very grumpy night porter first wanted the credit card to block a security deposit of $400. This is not stated anywhere, neither on the Expedia website nor on the hotel website. It was made clear to us, no credit card - no room, what's the point??!! The man was too stupid to use his credit card reader. The security deposit was reserved twice, a total of about $800, very professional!! After 9 days, these reservations were finally deleted. The room was really bad. The bathroom door was stuck, the fan in the bathroom didn't work. The window was bent and didn't close properly. The room faced the inner courtyard, where a huge air conditioning system rattled day and night. We asked for another room the next day and got one. The room was OK, but there was a big wall in front of the window. When I asked what that meant, I was clearly told that 3rd batch bookings, for example Expedia, only get the remaining rooms. The good rooms with a view of the park are only available for guests booked directly with the hotel. That's really intense!!! Our room was cleaned once in 4 days. When asked, it was said that you have to actively announce or order. With all due respect, I've never heard that before. Just as a side note, the breakfast is real"
