As there is no bar or breakfast room you will be on your own, not really a place to get in touch with other travelers. Next supermarket and restaurants are far away (20 minutes), there is no promenade with bars or a village center. However we enjoyed 2 nights relaxing on our own. â
âEin wirklich traumhaftgelegenes Hotel, welches um ein altes Gutshaus herum gebaut wurde. Inmitten von Weinreben und OlivenbĂ€umen gelegen hat jedes Zimmer eine traumhafte Aussicht auf den Douro. Wir wurden freundlichst empfangen, mit einem Erfrischungstuch und GetrĂ€nken. Supernettes Personal. Sehr zu empfehlen. Auch der Tipp an der Rezeption, mit dem Zug den Besuch von Regua zu machen, war sehr hilfreich.â

"Atemberaubende Aussicht auf den Fluss und ein Mega Infinity Pool! Das Hotel an sich ist irgendwie komisch konzipiert - vom Parkplatz bis 8. Etage wechselt man drei Lifte. Die Bausubstanz ist schlecht, man sieht ĂŒberall Risse oder es ist renovierungsbedĂŒrftig. Und die Sauberkeit ist nicht so gut. An manchen Stellen liegt MĂŒll und keiner kĂŒmmert sich darum. Wenn man es ausblendet, ist es eine sehr schöne Lage nicht weit von Porto, um Duoro Tal zu erkunden. Und es gibt sogar ein Tennisplatz zu benutzen, coole Aussicht inbegriffen!"

"We can only confirm everything that was written here by other guests. It is absolutely worth it going there! We had only three days there in this large house surrounded by nature on our road trip through Portugal and Galicia, but next time, we will try to stay longer, because there is so much to discover there. We can absolutely recommend taking the train ride up the Douro valley to Pinhao or one of the other charming little towns there! Many thanks to Joao for the friendly reception - and the local wine and beer we found in the fridge were very welcome on a hot day!"
