„The Cottage on the Kennebec is exactly as advertised. We explored the area (Houston Brook Falls, Moxie Falls, and Jackman Trading Post are highly recommended!), but spent a lot of time just enjoying the property kayaking, grilling, sitting by the river, playing games, and using the fire pit. Mike and Kim were very friendly and made us feel welcome while respecting our privacy.“

„We enjoyed our stay at the riverside studio while we attended a family wedding. The studio was comfortable and well appointed. Our check-in and check-out was very easy and the owners made sure we had all directions prior to arrival. The bed was comfortable. Overall, the rental was just what we needed for the weekend. „The property was amazing! The views where outstanding and we enjoyed evwry minute we where there. This was an ATV outing and Julie, the hostess, was amazing! She was so helpful with her extensive knowledge of the ATV trail systems in the area that it made our trime on the trails much easier! Whould highly recommend any ATV enthusiast to stay there. „We stayed for four nights with our teenaged son. The cabins are roomy, clean, and well appointed. „We had a wonderful time at the cabin! Plenty of room for our family (us parents and our three teenagers) to spread out, and we had everything we needed to make our own meals in the kitchen. „We had a wonderful stay during school vacation week. We planned to ski all week, but weather had other plans and closed all the lifts, so we had a lot of extra time at the house. „We rent a house every year in either NH or Maine, and this place was one of the best! Very clean, exactly as described, and the communication with Courtney & Heather was absolutely the best! We enjoyed excellent hiking by day, and good food, cocktails, and games each evening. I would highly recommend staying here if you’re skiing or hiking or biking in the area!“

Fishing, kayaking, swimming, grilling, relaxing; visiting and experiencing the Town of Monson, the Moosehead Lake region, and the surrounding areas. „The cabin was centrally located and a great fit for what we needed. We were a group of five and that seemed like a perfect number for the space (although theoretically I think it can sleep ten). If you plan to cook for larger groups you should bring some of your own pots and pans, and paper plates and utensils (the kitchen does have some things, but not enough for cooking for more than 3-4 ppl). „This is a beautiful home in a quiet spot on the pond. We enjoyed our stay with five adults and our dog. Plenty of space to walk, swim, or paddle. The home has so many unique qualities. You get a beautiful view of the lake and Hummingbirds right in front of you. Everything you might need is there. The owners were avaliable to answer any questions we had. Definitely would book again in the future.“

"Das Haus wurde mit Liebe und Engagement erstellt. Das Hostel of Maine lädt ein, egal zu welcher Jahreszeit, länger dort zu verweilen. Familiäre Atmosphäre, Gemeinschaftsbereich mit Kamin, Küche, in der man selbst kochen kann und auch ein Angebot an TK. Gerichten zum Aufwärmen und Getränke. Frühstück ist gut, bei allem wird auf Nachhaltigkeit geachtet. Als Gast ist man gleich Teil der Hausgemeinschaft. Zimmer super, geräumig, schönes Bad und alles super sauber.
