„My husband and I desperately needed a getaway and we found the perfect spot...Oak Flats Farm!No people, no traffic, only the sounds of nature. We especially loved the fact that the farm has cows, sheep and chickens. We set up our beach chairs and just watched the animals in the pastures. The little cabin was adorable with everything you need.There is an outside shower which is pretty unique.We even found eggs in the fridge that Melissa left for us. „We stayed during an evacuation from hurricane Milton. It was a little hard to find due to our GPS issue but we were able to navigate on our own. Our first impression was the tranquility of the property. The cottage was very clean & our host had turned on the a/c so it was very comfortable. First room, AC didn't work, so Derick (owner) brought in a huge portable AC unit, mounted it on a kitchen chair, vented thru the only window , above the counter, and ran a hose to the shower for the drainage of the unit.
