„The property was as beautiful as it was in the pictures with lovely grounds and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. Unfortunately though, the outside of the property was swarming with wasps so unable to keep doors and windows open and nor could you fully relax in the hot tub. My partner got stung on the first night. Also there was a trap in the corner of the bedroom which made us feel uneasy sleeping at night. And the window above the bed did not have a blackout blind so was woken early ...

„We were attending a gig a Ludlow Castle, most accommodation was booked or expensive at Ludlow for the night of the gig so we chose to stop at Stokestay Hotel because there was a train station close that we could catch there and back. The Stokesay staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and tidy, breakfast was excellent and bar prices good so we would not hesitate to stop there again.“

„Lovely b&b would definitely stay again! Food absolutely delicious in the pub and for breakfast (using locally tour ed ingredients) and great choice of both food and drinks. Super friendly staff, make you feel very welcome and they’re really helpful! Rooms comfortable and the air con in bedroom was a huge plus! My Bathroom (room 2) had a huge bath tub and a shower with great water pressure and temperature. WiFi free and excellent throughout the building. My only very small issue was that ...

„Just got home after a lovely stay at Rowton Castle. The staff were amazing could not do enough for you. Food was good and excellently presented. The grounds were amazingly kept. First visit but definitely not the last.“

„What I didn't like was the Noise from the traffic over the night, other wise was pleased with the large room, clean and comfortable. Parking area OK but very dusty. The staff is very helpful and pleasant.“

„This pub is located in the very centre of the town an thus walking distance from most attractions and restaurants. The place is clean though rather basic with few amenities. No breakfast is on offer. Our problem was that the bedrooms appear to have been built into this historic building with little or no sound proofing. The noise from the bar below sounds in the bedroom as if was coming out of the wardrobe! The music played seemed to be a challenge to the drinkers to shout over it. We could get ...

„Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Das Bett war sehr bequem mit dicker Zudecke. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war in Ordnung. Dass Parkplätze vorhanden sind, habe ich erst zu spät bemerkt. Der Fernseher hing sehr wackelig an der Wand - die Wandbefestigung war zum Teil herausgebrochen. Die Zimmertür nach draußen dichtet nicht sehr gut ab, so dass man alles von draußen hört - insbesondere zu Restaurantzeiten die Küchengeräusche. Das liegt auch mit an den Luftschlitzen über der Tür, die nicht zuzumachen ...
