„Very clean, quiet, comfortable, and exceeded our expectations. What a nice spot to come back to after a day of hiking or bike riding.This is ideal as a base for exploring the area, or just staying in to have some relaxing downtime.The accommodation was wonderful, but what also adds to the great experience is the communicative and gracious host.“

„As expected. Perfect size for two, kitchen well stocked with utensils, dishes, gadgets. Incredibly clean. Easy parking and easy to get to local attractions by car. Highly recommend. Had an issue (no fault of host) and it was addressed promptly.“

„This cabin was exactly the privacy and lack of inernet/cell service we desperately needed. Spacious enough that we're debating bringing a group next time! Some of the old VHS tapes and equipment/anemities were like a step back in time. Quiet, charming, and within driving distance (30-40 miles) of many great hiking spots and food. Honestly can't wait to come back!“

„We enjoyed sitting around the fire and viewing the beautiful woods that this property sat on. Our grandkids loved all the space to run around and explore. We could watch the deer meander through the woods while we drink our coffee through the kitchen windows. Very secluded and peaceful. The house was adequate for our stay.“

„Our family greatly enjoyed several nights at this cozy cottage! It was clean, had lots of lovely amenities, and was close to Ashland, Washburn and Bayfield. When we had a question, Chelsie responded quickly and thoroughly. Would absolutely recommend it for couples and small families. It didn’t quite provide the lake view we hoped for, but perhaps as leaves fall off, there will be a better view!“

„This was the second time we stayed, the first being in 2019. Both times the kitchen was well stocked with anything you would ever need. The entire house was neat, clean, and organized. A wonderful place to stay with family or friends and visit the surrounding area and all it has to offer. With so much to see and do in the area it’s easy to be on the go, but plan to stay an extra day or two to just enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the estate. “

„We enjoyed our stay. Caught fish right off pier. Nice pier and lake views. Easy to find. Quiet. Lost power NO storm or wind for 7 hrs(not the owners fault)which made things a bit rough. And had a few issues with the water faucet(kitchen) just trickling, not sure why. Otherwise a nice stay. Great for 2 to 4 people max, in my opinion. “

The yard and views are absolutely beautiful. Our favorite part was the natural fireplace, which we used every night while unwinding from the day. We would definitely come back to stay! “

„This was a cute cabin along the south shore of Lake Superior, a quick bike ride to a couple of smaller towns and about 25 minutes to Bayfield. There is a short walk to a beach cove which is secluded and beautiful. Less than a 10 minute drive to Hidden falls hike which was gorgeous! The host was very responsive and flexible, and the place was clean and organized. Would definitely spend time here again! “

"Renoviertes Motel direkt an der Marina. Es gibt am Strand Liegen und einen Feuerkorb. Viel zu bieten hat Washburn nicht. Wir haben es als Ausgangspunkt für den Besuch des Aposte Island National Lakeshore genutzt. Wir können es empfehlen. "
