„This historic villa will sweep you away. Such stunning grounds and views. Very clean. Property manager is very helpful and attentive. Location cannot be beat. Super spacious with fantastic library of books. We were sad to leave. Just keep in mind - it's an old house! No air conditioning so adjust expectations for summer months.“

„The property has a fabulous location and it very well fitted out. However some points which we were unaware of before our stay: only the downstairs bedroom, which I’d class as bedroom 3 had air con, no other part of the property had air con. The road leading to the property is single lane and twisty, encountering a vehicle coming the other way is a real problem. The property next door is being rebuilt , for the first 2 weekdays there was constant building noise, this was dealt with excellently ...

„Lovely stay at this property right on the lake. The villa itself was spacious and gorgeous. We had 2 families.. 4 adults and 3 teens, and there was space left over for more people. The property had lovely views of the lake from the property and many of the rooms. We could have just stayed at the villa the whole time and been perfectly content with the views, the villa, and swimming in the lake. There were several good restaurants in walking distance. Some of them were up the hill, and Google ...
