„The cabin was clean and great for driving into Lamar Valley. They appear to be building a few cabins, so with the construction nearby and recent heavy rain, it was a bit muddy trying to get parked, but we made it. The stoop is concrete but the driveway is gravel, so we carried our suitcases rather than rolling them over the mud. There is no central heat, but the two provided plug-in heaters kept us toasty and warm. The decor is super cute and the beds were comfy and cozy. The kitchen was well ...

„Being just a tad late to reserve any rooms at Lake McDonald Lodge may have been a blessing as King's Cabin was everything the reviews expressed, along with the detailed description provided by owner. Perfect size dining, sleeping, kitchen, living room areas for the 8 of us. Enjoyed our afternoons on the pictured grass surrounded by its own forest. „If your are looking to get away from it all, this is the property (No TV and wifi only at the main check-in)! We originally planned to stay two days but extended our stay and the hosts were gracious enough to extend our stay.Beautiful sunrise on the day we left.Two minor concerns - the path from the main road was pretty bumpy and needs more gravel soon. Second, the marker for the entrance from the road is easy to miss if you are driving fast and it's night time.“
