„Really nice hotel and we really enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful gardens / pool area, however our room was directly above a very noisy kitchen fan which started (and woke us up) before 6.30am and didn’t turn off until 9.30pm.“

„Very spacious and clean single room. Equipped with fridge and a fan which were both very welcome on the extremely warm conditions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is undergoing full refurbishment by dedicated owners. Extremely good value for money also.“

Die Lage ist toll, die Ausstattung grundsätzlich ebenfalls, es ist alles vorhanden was versprochen wird. Allerdings läßt der Pflegezustand und die Sauberkeit arg zu Wünschen übrig; teilweise sind auch die Mitarbeiter nicht so motiviert ihrer Arbeit nachzugehen wie man es erwartet. Im Zimmer war es NICHT sauber, die offensichtlichen Spinnweben schon verstaubt, diverse größere Staubansammlungen ...

„The property is very nice. Looked very new inside and very clean. There were a few hiccups. The shower cut off for about 30 minutes in the middle of a shower. There were no linens for the sofa bed. The bar and restaurant are closed on Monday and Tuesday and I wasn't advised of this until I had already arrived in the UK. If it were not for those things, I would have given 5 stars.“

„It was great value for our one night stay. If you’re looking for a location near the beach, train station and the bus stop to Ryde or Ventnor then it’s great. The rooms were small but the bed was comfy and we had tea and coffee provided in the room as well. Check-in and check out were really straightforward and everyone very friendly. Many thanks.“

„Like other people have already mentioned, there is no Hotel staff on site so you're pretty much left to your own devices. When checking in I was greeted by the restaurant’s chef who had to phone someone to come and bring the keys to my room which included a ten minute wait.
 Since the rooms are located above the restaurant, it is quite loud in the evening and late at night – especially when your room faces the street and people leave the restaurant talking loudly. I had a problem during my stay ...

The breakfast is chosen from a menu with a few options. Restaurants are about a 10 minute walk away. The shower had very low waterflow. “
