„We were very pleased with the Old Barn and it is one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in. It was well equipped and included things that we usually have to bring with us when staying away, such as washing up liquid, cloths, tea towels, soap, salt and pepper. The hosts provided a pint of milk on arrival, with tea, coffee and sugar and some homemade bara breth which was lovely.

„It is located in a quiet and very beautiful part of the country. A perfect place to relax for a few days.“

„Excellent place to stay. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Cosy bedroom, comfy beds. All very clean. The food was tasty. We enjoyed an evening meal and breakfasts.“

„Pictures look better than reality. But all in all, decent hotel and breakfast was good“

„Brief stay for a local wedding. Staff v friendly and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Easy checkout.“

„The castle and its grounds are stunning and great to explore and the village right outside the gates is lovely too. The roaming peacocks were a true highlight as well! Unfortunately the room was not very clean and quite worn down, specially the bathroom. Breakfast was ok but the food at dinner was unfortunately not recommendable“
