We were delighted by his and Mary’s thoughtfulness — they even provided milk, eggs and bread for the next morning. It was reassuring to know they were right next door if we needed anything, but everything in the house functioned well and we were very comfortable. “

„An overnight stay after a trip to Hershey, on the way to Lancaster. The house looks like the listing and was what we were comfortable after a long day. “

„This was a great place. In the country but very easy access to Gettysburg and surrounding area. Our hosts left snacks and drinks for our use. Every morning and evening we enjoyed either the front porch or back patio. There was even fire wood and kindling for the backyard firepit.Don't know if we'll return to Gettysburg but if we do, we would stay here again without hesitation. “

„Our awesome guest experience started with the thoughtful emails from our host. We stayed on the farm after visiting Great Wolf Lodge and Hershey Park. Both places are fun, but over stimulating; it was relaxing retreating to the farm. The apartment was very clean, gave all of us space to take a bit of time apart, and allowed us to cook breakfast and dinner each day. „We absolutely LOVE this farmhouse! Its so spacious and its a welcome trip back in time! Its decorated with items from the past and theres so much nostalgia. The handwritten notes from what i believe was the homeowner and a teacher are simply endearing, from the recipies and more! My kids talk about this house to no end and it was our 2nd year in a row. This year we also celebrated my fathers 79 bd. Communication with the owner is top notch! We will definitely stay at this house for years ...

„Communication is respectful and welcoming. The property is gorgeous. I’ve never seen such healthy gardens in my life; just the sight of them gave me positive energy. The home is clean and well equipped. Each room has its own air conditioner and sound machine which serves multiple people who have different preferences. We had a quiet and all around pleasant stay; and with an easy drive to wherever we want to go, I would definitely book again and for a longer time. “

„The stay was amazing. The deck is great! Should have some bar top chairs and a higher table so you don’t have to look thru the rails to see the wildlife. Perfect history match for Gettysburg!“

„The Happy Hen was the perfect spot for my wife and I and our two children, aged 10 and 6. Minutes away from the battlefield, with a very convenient Dollar General just down the road, the HH was cozy and delightful. We intend to stay again in the future.“

„We had a great stay at Valley View! The farmhouse was gorgeous inside and out. We spent every day floating around in the pond and relaxing. We had all the supplies needed to cook dinner at night. The Oriental General Store was a short walk down the road where we could pickup almost anything we needed. Our host was friendly and responsive. We highly recommend! “

„Picked SanaView for the value and proximity to Hidden Valley and Seven Springs. Family and the kid’s friends/partners loved the old farm house character. Very similar to family lake cottage and shore house…not fancy, just well loved, cozy, and a place to play and have fun together. “
