„Staff was kind. Everything else was falling apart. Bathrooms had mess on walls and floors. Cigarette burns in the vinyl flooring. AC didn’t work. Elevator carpet was ripped up and had dirty walls. The showers and tubs were brown.“

„We frequently choose older motels that cost less. We look closely at their photos, and if it looks updated and clean we choose it. Usually we find it is owned/managed by an immigrant family, frequently from the Subcontinent, and they do an excellent job with the older property. The Royal Inn in Hudson, Wis., is such a place. It was very clean, the air conditioning worked well on a hot day, parked right in front of our room. Convenient location.“

„Overpriced. Continental breakfast is bagels cereal and a waffle machine. No hot food other than make your own waffles. No dresser for clothes, phone in room did not work so no way to contact desk. No elevator.“

„When we first drove by the property appeared abandoned. We could see junk piled in windows, overgrown lawn/weeds, and trash all over by the side and back entrances. When we went inside to check in the lady at the desk said "can i help you?" I let her know I had a reservation and she rolled her eyes and sat down. I gave her my name, she printed a paper, slapped it down, didn't say a word, handed me cards, and turned and walked outside to smoke. We found our room and determined we should move our ...

„Our room was clean and quiet ; we asked for it to be scent free for my husband who gets migraines from room fresheners, oils, perfumes etc, and also asked for additional pillows and they honored our request. Breakfast was minimal but just fine for our needs. The open area downstairs was very comfortable for visiting with our friends after breakfast who were also guests at AmericInn. The location was perfect for our stay.“
