„Absolutely loved our stay at this incredible property on the Penobscot River. The location was unbeatable—peaceful, remote, and quiet, yet just a short drive to downtown Millinocket. The house had everything we needed and more, but it was the outdoor space that really set it apart. „First, when we visited, there was a new set of stairs down to the water that were excellent. Second, the water pressure in the shower was amazing.The cabin is plain, but very functional. The location is quiet, very quiet. There are cars going by on the road but very few. There are boaters on the lake, but only a couple at a time. One night the loons were out and it was very nice. If you take the stairs down to the bottom and the weather is clear, you can see Katahdin.I would stay there again.“

The house was well-equipped with everything we needed from an amazing kitchen, tons of bath towels, beach towels, 4 kayaks, a canoe, floating tubes, corn hole, etc. We spent our days paddling, swimming and fishing in the lake and also explored some short hiking trails and natural water slides in Baxter State Park. We have stayed in many rental properties and The Lake House is 1 of the best! “

„Amazing property at a pristine location overlooking the lake. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay, especially helping us out when there was an unexpected snow storm that led to power outage. Brought us over buckets and flashlights and offered us to move to another property. We loved this property so much that we decided to stay on. Cannot recommend this property and Kim and Renee enough. „We traveled to Millinocket to visit with cousins for 4th of July holiday. We enjoyed fishing and kayaking on Millinocket Lake. Appalachian Trail Cafe for breakfast and donuts! Fredericka's for dinner, which was excellent by everyone's reviews. BearsDen Lodge is at a beautiful location, with great views of MT. Katahdin. We had ample room for all 8 of us. Gene is a very hospitable caretaker with a great sense of humor. Very attentive to our needs. Thank you for the great stay. “

„The cabin and its surroundings are beautiful. It is one of the best cabins my wife and I have stayed in in Maine. It was very clean and welcoming. Mosquitos, common in the evening in Maine, were abundant at night. The 3rd night there was cool enough to turn off the AC and open the deck doors to listen to the loons calling. Unfortunately, there was a 7-inch gash in the screen preventing us from doing just that. I reported the gash to Brandon who was unaware of the tear. The cabin is only a short ...
