THE NEIGHBORHOOD:

We named our home The Village Haus first and foremost because we are so close to the famous Little Bavaria aka Frankenmuth! But secondly, because we wanted to include our roots. Millington is a quaint peaceful village community that is a great place for family!

Other than it’s central location to Frankenmuth and Birch Run Prime Outlets shopping mall, we are also close to Flint, Saginaw, Midland, and Bay City! Also close to Caseville Beach (located on Lake Huron)! Making us truly a great central location to LOTS of fun options while remaining away from all the hustle and bustle of busy city life.
Millington itself has some really neat antique malls and shops! As well as a few other notable places to visit;

Stop by Curly Cone for a Coney dog or delicious soft serve ice cream!

If you prefer hand dipped treats head North a bit on M15 and check out “Chocolates Galore” for the best hand dipped ice cream around! Did I mention, they also have THE BEST hand made chocolates?!

Looking to burn off some of those calories? Take a walk on “The Rail Trail” a groomed 10 mile walking path! Visit: https://g.co/kgs/3pXQtY for more information.

Don’t forget! We do have bikes in the shed as well if you just feel like taking a relaxing ride around town.

If your ready for a night out for a good drink and conversation check out “Bennys Biehalle”.

If you are looking to check out what the Michigan Thumb has to offer we would be happy to help with suggestions, just ask!
