„ The location on top of the mountain provided spectacular views and cool mornings even in July. I would suggest putting a medium sized skillet in the house to use with the convection hot plate. The fridge may need checking also. It took most of three days to cool down. Overall this is a great rental which I think was an outstanding value. I would definately stay here again.“

„I stayed for a couple nights for my birthday. Wanted something secluded and small. This was a perfect little cabin that fit the bill. Cool place with a creek right next to it and a little fire pit. Could definitely go back again “

„Lovely little cabin. Would be nice to have a larger back porch with screen since the creek and a small waterfall is so beautiful to look at and enjoy the sound. Inner tubes were in the basement with the laundry so we enjoyed a float on the creek. “

„Spent a long weekend getting out of the Florida heat with our 2 huskies. Cabin was pet friendly with fenced in area for the dogs and lovely balconies to enjoy the shade, cooler weather and lovely views. Host was very responsive. “

„This cabin is located about 30-40min from Boone area. It’s on a beautiful creek with a well maintained yard. It’s located with 3 other cabins but still feels somewhat remote. The boys loved playing in creek and exploring. Very clean and great host for answering questions. “

Everything about our stay was perfect. Ken was the ultimate communicator, so friendly, accommodating, and available for any questions. We didn’t leave the property except for long walk and our dog loved floating with us in the river followed by hot tub soaks for the humans. "I had slightly higher expectations before arriving at the hotel. The check-in staff were fine, but I was hoping for a bit more of that Southern hospitality. When we got to our room, we noticed a lot of noise from the road, so we went back down to request a room change, which they handled without any issues—this was fantastic. The room itself was quite nice, with a very comfortable bed, though the bathroom was a bit small but functional. I also want to highlight the number and quality of the towels, which were excellent. Unfortunately, we didn’t enjoy the breakfast much. It was impossible to avoid single-use plastic, which, as Europeans, we find difficult due to the amount of waste it generates. The dining area also felt a bit drab and uninviting. Another downside was the housekeeping. Despite requesting, confirming, and leaving the sign on the door for daily cleaning, we returned one evening to find that no one had come to clean the room, which was disappointing."
