The scenic drive to our home winds through apple orchards and you may see wildlife including deer, rabbits, and at dusk in the summer you may enjoy an evening serenade of whippoorwills singing. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee on one of our multiple decks or sitting on the porch swing, overlooking the private 1 acre lawn. You can take a relaxing walk down the rural country road to get some fresh mountain air or just unplug and read a book. Harmony House is family-friendly and located close to all your go-to local favorite places. You are just minutes away from the gorgeous Lake Lure (made famous by the movie “Dirty Dancing”, Parker Binn’s Winery (a local vineyard), and Tryon International Equestrian Center(TIEC). If you are the adventurous type you can also hike the local trails and visit waterfalls, and enjoy outings like tubing and zip lining nearby. Golf in the beautiful mountains nearby at Rumbling Bald Resort, Apple Valley Golf Club, or Cleghorn Golf and Country Club. Your children will have a blast visiting with our Dwarf Goat “Ripley” who lives onsite. Feed her some carrots or celery during your stay or just give her a quick pet. She loves visitors! Relax by the cozy fire pit outside, make some s’mores or sip on a glass of local wine at the end of the night. There truly is something for everyone to enjoy at Harmony House!
