Gut: Sauberkeit, Kommunikation und Genauigkeit des Onlineauftritts
Overall mixed experience, but the place was stylish, spacious, and comfortable. Great communication and service by Hostmate when things didn't quite go as planned.
Good location - around the corner from Arco della Pace, Parco Sempione, and 20-min walk to Brera, a very nice neighborhood to go out. Decent value for Milan.
A few basic amenities were missing, like hand soap, paper towel/kitchen towels, some common cooking items, etc. but we got by or bought a couple things. Dishwasher was not working. Nice kitchen space for a brief vacation rental (hard to find in Italy).
The unit has AC, but we couldn't use it the first day because the remote was missing... Milan also had an unseasonal heat wave at the time, bad luck there. The host was quick to respond and replace the remote for us when we called in the issue.
Some advice for visitors:
Make sure you're at the right address, 14... not 14A. The doors look the same. 14A comes after 18 and 16, but Apt 14 is about a block down the street.
There are a few ways to enter the apartment, so it was okay once you figure it out. We usually used the physical dialpad on the lock, because the auto (un)locking mechanism from the online app wasn't activating for the apt door.
