"We stayed for four nights and overall had a positive experience. The hotel is beautiful, modern, stylish and very clean. The staff were also consistently friendly and genuinely helpful. Whenever we had an issue, they tried to find a solution. However, the hotel still feels like it is finding its footing. At times, staff seemed unsure about procedures, what was included or what they were allowed to offer, which made the service feel somewhat unorganized. We also felt the hotel lacks a clear concept. It presents itself as a luxury spa and relaxation hotel, but children are allowed to run around the cabana area, which can be disruptive for guests looking for peace and quiet. A clearer separation of family and relaxation areas would help. The housekeeping concept was another disappointment. Fresh towels are only provided every three days and cleaning is very limited. For almost €900 for four nights, we expected a higher standard. There were also no towels available in the sauna during any of our three visits, which may explain why guests were taking them from their rooms. Bathrobes and slippers, which were stated as included when booking, were also missing. If housekeeping is limited, basic cleaning essentials such as a broom should at least be provided in the apartments. Finally, service at the pool bar and restaurant was quite slow, with drinks sometimes taking around 40 minutes despite there being there being very few guests."

"Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und das Badezimmer ist ein Gedicht. Die Tiefgarage ist ziemlich eng und bietet wenig Platz. Sonst war alles zu unser Zufriedenheit."

"Wir waren als Familie (mit Hund) 10 Tage in dem Hotel. An sich waren wir mit dem Hotel sehr zufrieden. Was sehr schade war: wir haben 27€ am Tag für unseren Hund bezahlt, ich sehe da nur den Zweck nicht. Denn es wurde kein einziges Mal unsere Bettwäsche getauscht, noch wurde die Toilette geputzt. Buffet war immer reichlich, nur hätte ich mir morgens mehr Vielfalt gewünscht z.b. Lachs, verschiedene Wurstsorten/ Käsesorten. Pool war nie überladen und es gab immer eine freie Liege. Der Hundebereich mit vier Liegen war etwas mager bei so vielen Hunden. Man kann wunderbar am Meer entlang laufen und ein Hundestrand ist nicht weit entfernt. Das Personal war immer sehr hilfsbereit und nett…"

"Eine sehr schöne Hotelanlage,saubere und komfortable Zimmer sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, Frühstücks Buffet zum wünschen,alles dabei und es fehlt an nichts. Das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit,wir können es nur weiterempfehlen. Und wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder."

"Everything Top! The best thing is that we were on holidays about 3 years ago at Hotel Excelsior Lovran und we forgot our jackets there ! Now after almost after 3 Years in 2026 , We were again there for holidays and asked the Receptionist about our stuff ( i was not expecting that , i asked them just because i was curios ) And guess what !!! In less then one hour they found our stuff and handed over to us !!! One Plastic bag with 2 Jackets ,One pant and 20 cents coin in it ☺️ Unbelieveable 👌Very Honest and Very Safe Place for Vacations !"
