Quiet cottage with easy access to Yosemite
Spending days in Yosemite is easy when using this rental cottage as a starting point. Rooms are large and master bedroom bed is very comfortable (did not use second bedroom). Having two bathrooms is always a big plus for us. Level parking makes loading and unloading easy too. Very clean, private, and quiet.

Exceptionally Clean, Convenient location
We reserved the Yosemite Country cottage for a quick two-night weekend visit to Yosemite. Charles contacted me shortly after the reservation was confirmed with more information about the cottage and the area. As a former Yosemite Park employee, he is a wealth of knowledge about the area. The cottage is about an hour from the Valley floor through a beautiful waterfall dotted pass. We didn't mind the drive. Charles sent over directions and check in information prior to our arrival and everything went smoothly. Quick note - access to the cottage is up a steep driveway. Our rental Altima struggled a bit with the ascent, but we prevailed. The cottage is exceptionally clean and exactly as pictured. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen is adequately stocked with pots, pans, etc. There were pods for the dishwasher and washing machine, and coolers for day use. We brought provisions with us, as Charles recommended, and are glad we did. There's not much nearby except deer. Which we saw our first evening, to our delight. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be able to return to Yosemite sometime soon.

The property was perfect for our stay in Yosemite. Charles was a great host...helped us plan our trip to ensure we experienced the best of Yosemite. He was very communicative before and during our stay. The property was extremely clean, well-equipped and very comfortable. We would definitely stay at this property again! Charles and the cottage are gems!

A nice house in the woods
A very nice and clean 3 bedroom that is 100% wheelchair accessible with a European style roll in shower/bathroom. We ate dinner all 3 nights at the house using the grill and the oven. We did a couple of laundry loads and had a good time. The TV is app driven so if you have netflix or another subscription service you are good to go - also the amount of time we actually spent at the home was pretty limited to the evenings as we were in the area to check out Yosemite. There is a binder on the coffee table with a lot of info about the area

Great experience! Great location!
Close to Yosemite! If you need accessible accommodation this is it. This place is fully accessible and has an awesome master bath. The house is very nicely decorated. Kitchen is well equipped. Charles is a wealth of knowledge on the park and surrounding area and most other national parks as well. Can’t say enough good things about this place. When I come back this will be the first place I look to stay

Cottage
Our stay was great, the property was secure and VERY organized and tidy. Within 1 hr of Tunnel View, 1.5 hr of Yosemite Village, 2 hrs of Glacier Point, etc. We had everything we needed, though not the most conducive for early mornings or late nights in the park due to distance, but not the fault of the property or owner by any means, just an FYI not a lot of downtime if you're wanting to spend large chunks of time at the Park(s). Charles was accommodating to an early check-in and was present on-site upon our arrival. He is a phenomenal and knowledgeable resource on all things Yosemite and surrounding areas. I will say, just in our experience, he stayed around for over an hour after our arrival showing us things and telling us about other rules, etc. that were laid out in the binder/house instructions and messaged and called on more than one occasion within the first 2 hours. Again, very appreciative of his knowledge and insights, but after a day of travel we did not quite expect to interact as much as we did. Overall, this was a wonderful property and owner that, together, offer a great escape from the typical fast-paced world we are used to. This spot will always hold a special place to us as we got engaged (at Glacier Point) during this stay. Thanks again, Charles! PS - the driveway is steep and easy to miss
