„Walden was exactly as advertised. We loved the cozy atmosphere and creature comforts. Due to rainy weather we did not get to utilize a lot of the outdoor and riverside amenities but recognized them for being available had the weather cooperated. Derek was very responsive to any needs we had. We loved the screened porch and ate their and enjoyed drinks despite the weather. We are already planning a return visit.“

„Very nice. Would have been better if there was access to firewood, coffee, bath soap and towels/linens. We tried contacting the property manager to inquire about smart tv connection to watch a movie but no one got back to us. Otherwise, I’d enjoyed Mother’s Day weekend at the cabin.“

„Really enjoyed our stay, though I wish I had brought my dog! Short girls' trip with my bestie. The property was easy to find, was very clean, and had literally everything we needed for our short stay - exactly as advertised. Comfy beds, fluffy towels, well equipped kitchen, and the porch was lovely in the evening. Not too far from the Shenandoah park entrance. Other than an hour or 2 of iffy WiFi (probably weather related) everything went great. Would happily return!“

„Myself and a few friends stayed here in late April. The views from the cabin are as good or better than many on the Appalachian Trail or other nearby trails and parks, and the cabin itself was well appointed. The hosts were great and very prompt with communication. The road and driveway to access the property are gravel and somewhat steep, but I didn't feel like we needed high clearance or 4 wheel drive at any point (in good weather). I would definitely stay here again.“
