„The cottage was perfectly for us, beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, with everything you may need for a stay away from home, from a picnic bag to a slow cooker. The location is perfect.Walking distance to the park and ride for Whitby and a great restaurant and pub across the road. We also took advantage of the lovely bridal paths for walks in the countryside. Jenny the host was very responsive. I would definitely recommend“

„The cottage is very close to the beach and the town centre, we found it to be very quiet and relaxing, and it has a parking spot outside the property, it is well equipped it has a full sized fridge freezer, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this roomy cottage.“

„First impressions not good due to long grass and weeds against front wall and do No freezer box in fridge. We weren’t expecting a freezer compartment as not listed. Only one bedside lamp in main bedroom Only comfortable seats for three people in sitting room. Not a problem for us two Second bedroom inadequate for another couple no storage, again no problem for us. Couldn’t use allocated parking due to steep steps to house having no handrail QR info ok for us but many older people would be ...

„We had a wonderful stay in River Cottage. The house is fabulous, with everything you could possibly need. The views of the river are spectacular and we loved sitting in the conservatory watching it racing by. This house doesn't want for anything and was perfect for our family. We would highly recommend it.“

„Lovely little property close to the town and opposite the water. Steep steps lead up to the entrance but once inside the property has everything you need. Large sofa, small table for 4 and kitchen with facilities. Would consider staying again in the future “

„1. Getting difficult to.find the exact location of property, its helpful if mentioned the building name. 2.Whole night struggled to run the heating but didnt work survived without heating. 3. Wifi id provided not available in the premises. “

„The house was everything we hoped for and more. The decor is spot on and there can't be many houses in Whitby with a better vista. The only thing I would say though is that it is very difficult to load and unload...Church St car park was packed so we had to use the Abbey car park which is a gruelling up/downhill slog for the less fit/able. Be prepared to travel very light as you can't get close to the property with a car. Having said that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return.“

„Wir haben die Tage im wunderschönen Cottage von Laura sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft liegt in Wasser- und Strandnähe im urigen Fischerdorf Staithes und vom Schlaf- sowie Wohnzimmer hat man einen tollen Blick auf den Hafen und das Meer. Morgens wurden wir von den Möwen geweckt, abends haben wir es genossen, am Kamin zu sitzen. Ein toller Aufenthalt in einer sehr schönen und gepflegten Unterkunft. Danke.“
