Located just outside Middlebury and minutes from Shipshewana, Essenhaus, and local shops, it’s the perfect place to rest, recharge, and enjoy the beauty of the countryside — book your stay and make Farm Haven Retreat your next getaway.

You are less than 5 minutes away from the famous Das Dutchman Essenhaus restaurant; 10 minutes from world-renowned Shipshewana, where there are shops, restaurants, the well-known Flea Market, and Blue Gate Theatre; 15 minutes to the Bonneyville Mill Park, where you can watch the old fashioned grinding and enjoy hiking and lovely scenery. The Pumpkinvine Trails is only about 1 mile away, where you can take a relaxing walk/bike ride through the countryside. Nappanee has additional Amish culture with shopping, theatre, and dining. All this and more as you relax and enjoy this wonderful area full of culture and hospitality.

Self-Check-in - You will gain access to the property via a keypad which will be provided the day before check-in. Convenient dusk-to-dawn lights make your arrival easier, no matter what time of day.

As a quick disclaimer and note to potential guests, we are a FAMILY ORIENTED neighborhood. We are NOT a party house and have a strict 10pm - 7am noise rule. After 10pm our neighbors should not hear you. IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO PARTY and come and go all hours of the night, we are not a good fit for you. Rowdiness, excessive noise, loud music, etc. are all grounds for removal.

Our neighbors are all families who have children. Please be considerate of them and respectful of this rule or you will be made to leave the property immediately.
