„I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). “

„Hot bath tap didn't work so moved to another room. The curtains in there were so thin that the outside lights were so bright in my room and made it really hard to sleep. The whole place needs an upgrade. Beautiful building but lots of damp water leak patches in ceilings of corridors and in therestaurant.“

„The only negative point for me was not having the option to pay all in advance. Due to the card I've used to book ( it was a swiss site then I've used a swiss card ) and taking into account that in the meantime they've taken an advance payment and then back again they've paid themselves the rest with the same card, I've ended paying more than the advertised price. A real shame because the BB is good. “

"Wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben und haben die Nähe zum Strand und den sehr guten Restaurants an der Marina genossen. Aufgrund aktuell anstehender Renovierungsarbeiten am Dach des Hotels war es komplett eingerüstet, was aber nicht weiter gestört hat. Wir haben - ohne danach gefragt zu haben - vom Hotel ein Zimmer-Upgrade auf einen Family-Room bekommen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich! "
