Dormy Park by Berry Getaways

Dormy Park is located between the stylish village of Berry and the coastal town of Nowra on the NSW South Coast. Newly built on a sprawling acreage, Dormy Park is the perfect retreat for a family get together or for two families wanting to spend some private, quality time together. The home has been designed to enjoy spectacular views from every room over rolling grreen hills.



This luxurious residence features five generous light filled bedrooms to accommodate up to 14 guests (a maximum of 10 adults and four children). There is a queen master bedroom with travertine ensuite and walk-in wardrobe and a second queen bedroom in the western wing of the house. Both bedrooms open to a stunning verandah where the sun streams through of an afternoon. They are also accessed through a traditional Australian country home breezeway.



The eastern wing features another queen bedroom and a fourth bedroom with two king single beds, again both accessed by another breezeway. A beautiful and timeless travertine bathroom with bath is located between these two bedrooms.



The fifth bedroom is located upstairs and comprises four king single beds with two trundles (a maximum of two adults can sleep in this bedroom). From the south facing dormer windows you can see all the way to Mount Tianjara.



Guests will find plenty of additional space upstairs to enjoy a book from the library or choose from a large selection of games and puzzles to enjoy with the children or family. A large rumpus/TV room can also be found upstairs, the perfect teenagers retreat featuring a second tv with sound bar and x-box games console.



The stunning open plan kitchen and dining area will be the perfect space to come together and dine around the 14-seat custom-built dining table. The gourmet kitchen is something one might see featured in a country style magazine and is fitted with modern appliances. Itis equipped with a 90cm electric oven and gas stove, microwave, double-drawer dishwasher, an enormous island bench space for multiple cooks and everything you need to entertain.



Guests can relax in the stylish and sophisticated lounge area around a fan-forced, wood-burning combustion fireplace. The lounge area also features a smart TV and of course those magical views.



The property features a fantastic outdoor entertaining area with gas Weber BBQ, a 14 seat outdoor table which sits under a large timber pergola lit up with festoon lights, the perfect spot for a summer evening dinner or a winter lunch.



The fire pit is where you can unwind and relax in the winter months. Cosy up with a blanket whilst enjoying a glass of red whilst the kiddies toast marshmallows.



The swimming pool could be the perfect place to relax and cool off on those hot summer days. The house is air conditioned with ducted heating and cooling.



A secluded room under the house, next to the four-car garage, includes a billiard table and dartboard for the enjoyment of adults only. We ask that children not be in this room unsupervised.



There are plenty of places to explore, including a walking track up to the back of the property (see notes) where you can enjoy even more spectacular views or just relax and relish the magnificent surrounds and everything that Dormy Park has to offer.



Linen and bath and pool towels are provided.



Prior to booking, please note from 19th December 2020 – 27th January 2021 we do not accept any back to back bookings. If there are guests checking IN or OUT backing onto dates you have selected online we will ask to you move your booking back one day before confirming the details.



Firewood is provided from Easter Long weekend - October long weekend



The fire pit is only for use during the winter months.
