Experience Mellieħa from the comfort of Il-Girna, a beautifully designed and finished 3-bedroom private home with its own entrance and private backyard, located in the heart of the village.

Set just minutes from Mellieħa's village square, you'll have restaurants, cafés, pubs, shops, a pharmacy and the local church within easy reach. Mellieħa Bay (Għadira) and its sandy beach are also just a short distance away.

Designed with comfort, privacy and space in mind, Il-Girna is ideal for families, couples travelling together or groups of friends looking for more than a typical apartment stay.

Sleeping arrangements - The property comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests across three separate bedrooms, all located on the ground floor:

- Bedroom 1: Double bed with ensuite bathroom
- Bedroom 2: Double bed
- Bedroom 3: Two single beds

The twin beds can be converted into a double bed on request, subject to availability. Please request this at least one week before arrival and await written confirmation.

Air Conditioning - Air conditioning is operated through an electronic coin-meter system accepting €1 and €2 coins. A display shows the remaining credit.

Security - For the safety and security of our guests and the property, the main entrance/facade is monitored by CCTV.
There are no recording devices inside the property or in the private backyard.

Explore Mellieħa & Malta - Il-Girna is an excellent base for exploring northern Malta, with easy access to Mellieħa Bay, Golden Bay, Għajn Tuffieħa, Popeye Village, Comino and Gozo.

Malta Eco-Tax - The applicable Malta Environmental Contribution is not included in the accommodation price.
The contribution applies to guests aged 18 and over and is €1.50 per person per night, capped at €22.50 per person for each continuous stay.
The contribution is collected before check-in through our secure online payment system.

Important - Mellieħa Village Feast – September

If you are staying in Mellieħa during September, please be aware that the village celebrates its annual feast during this period.

Fireworks and festive activities take place throughout the village, including daytime fireworks and louder fireworks displays. Some fireworks may occur without advance warning and can be heard from the property.

While the noise can be significant, the feast is also a spectacular part of experiencing traditional Maltese village life, with the main celebrations taking place around 7–8 September.

House rules:
NO PARTIES & EVENTS - Parties, events and excessive gatherings are strictly prohibited. Please respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum, particularly during evening and night hours.
SMOKING - Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property. A €250 penalty will apply if this rule is breached. Please use the ashtrays provided outside.
PETS - No pets are permitted without prior written approval from Laguna Holidays Malta.
NUMBER OF GUESTS - The number of guests staying at the property must not exceed the number stated on the booking.
NOISE - Please be considerate of our neighbours. Excessive noise, loud music or disruptive behaviour is not permitted.
CARE OF THE PROPERTY - Please treat the property, furniture, appliances and facilities with care. Any damage or breakage must be reported to us as soon as possible.
SECURITY - Please lock all doors and windows whenever leaving the property. Do not provide access codes or keys to unauthorised persons.
AIR CONDITIONING - Please keep doors and windows closed while A/C units are operating. A/C usage is operated through the property's coin meter.
TV & ENTERTAINMENT - The property features WelcomeScreens, your digital guest guide containing accommodation information, house instructions, local recommendations, activities and useful information. For free TV channels and movies, please use the "StbEmu" application on the Smart TV.
GARBAGE - Please follow the applicable garbage collection schedule. Garbage should only be placed outside (on the pavement next to the front door) according to the designated collection times.
CHECK-OUT - Please follow the check-out instructions and leave the property in a reasonably clean and tidy condition.
