The Space:

We provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. The space is well-equipped with a queen size memory foam mattress, coffee, tea, shampoo and body wash.

When the solar system is functioning normally, we provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. The space is well-equipped with a queen size memory foam mattress, coffee, tea, shampoo, and body wash.



Surrounded with mountain views and breathtaking scenery, our tiny home is built with large glass windows in the bedroom to take in all the beauty from the comfort of your bed. The large porch has dining seating, a fireplace with seating, and a barbecue with string lights overhead to enjoy the warm nights outside under the stars.



The modern kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances and supplies. The gorgeous full bathroom features a rainfall shower and LED mirror.



IMPORTANT - BATHROOM AND RUNNING WATER: The shower, sink, and all water fixtures in the tiny home run on the solar-powered electrical system. If there is no power, there is no running water. This applies at any time of day or night. Please read the power and solar information below carefully before booking.





Is there AC?



We have a mini split air conditioner. Because the tiny home runs on a solar system, AC use depends entirely on available solar charge. During a strong sunny day, moderate AC use is supported for approximately three hours. If it was a cloudy day, AC will not be available. Please do not run the AC beyond recommended limits or the battery will drain and there will be no power until the following day when the sun recharges the system. If you leave the property during the day, please turn the mini split OFF.



During winter months, the mini split is not available for heating. Please see the winter notes below.





Is there electricity?



Our solar power system is fully off grid. It supports basic everyday use: charging your phone, running the coffee maker, using the refrigerator, and powering the lights. The system cannot handle high-wattage devices. Do not use blow dryers, electric heaters, toasters, or any high-voltage appliances. Doing so will drain the battery immediately and leave the property without power until the next day.



CRITICAL: Because the property runs entirely on solar power, any loss of power also means loss of running water. The shower, sink, and toilet flush all require electricity to function. If the battery drains, none of these will work until the system recharges the following morning. Please use energy conservatively throughout your stay.





Is there Wi-Fi?



We have a Wi-Fi satellite connection available. The speed is not equivalent to standard home Wi-Fi, but it supports basic browsing and communication.





Refund policy and off-grid expectations



This is a true off-grid experience. We do not offer refunds in the following specific situations:



- The battery depletes due to extended cloudy weather that prevents adequate solar charging

- Power loss occurs because guests used prohibited high-wattage appliances (blow dryers, electric heaters, toasters, etc.)

- The property is cold in winter, as no heating is available



We take our commitment to guests seriously. If you experience a power issue upon or shortly after arrival that is unrelated to weather or appliance misuse, please contact us immediately so we can troubleshoot with you. We are responsive and want to help resolve any technical issues as quickly as possible.



If a power failure or system malfunction occurs through no fault of weather or guest use, please reach out and we will address the situation directly.



Guest Access:

You are approximately 2.5 miles from Pierce Road. You have access to 100 acres to explore, hike, and relax. Bring your own ATV or boat.



The Neighborhood:

-Sky Walk Grand Canyon 15 minutes driving.

-Lake Mead South Cove 15 Minutes driving.

-Family Dollar store 6 miles away.

-Las Vegas 2 hrs. away.

-Kingman Historical Town 45 minutes away.



Other Things to Note:

ROADS: The roads leading to the tiny home are unpaved dirt roads and can become muddy or impassable in rain or snow. AWD vehicles are strongly recommended. Trucks and SUVs handle the roads well in normal conditions. Standard passenger cars can typically manage the road slowly in dry conditions, but there is a real risk of getting stuck if it rains or snows. We do not offer towing service, and tow trucks in the area are expensive.



SOLAR SYSTEM AND BATTERY: The tiny home runs entirely on solar panels and a battery system. On cloudy or overcast days, the batteries may not charge fully. In those instances, the refrigerator may be inoperable, the AC will not be available, and in reduced-charge situations, power may be limited or unavailable. You can use a depowered refrigerator as a cooler. We recommend bringing foods that do not require refrigeration as a backup.



As noted above, the shower, sink, and all water fixtures require electricity. No power means no running water until the system recharges.



WINTER: It gets very cold in the desert at night during winter months, including freezing temperatures. The mini split is not available for heat during winter. We have provided cozy blankets and the property can be comfortable with the right preparation, but if you are sensitive to cold, this property may not be the right choice for you in winter months. Refunds will not be issued because of cold temperatures. Please check the weather in Meadview, Arizona before your stay and pack thermals, long underwear, and warm layers accordingly.



WILDLIFE AND NATURE: This is a remote desert property. Insects, rodents, and the occasional snake sighting are part of the natural environment. If encountering wildlife would significantly affect your enjoyment, this property may not be the right fit.



ENERGY USE: This experience requires mindfulness about your energy consumption throughout your stay. Use the AC in moderation, turn it off when you leave, charge your devices without running other appliances simultaneously, and avoid all high-wattage items. Responsible energy use is what makes this off-grid experience possible and enjoyable.



It is very important to us to be upfront about all of this. We do not want surprises on either end. This property was designed as an outdoor, off-grid experience from the beginning, and the rewards, including some of the most spectacular night skies you will ever see, are well worth the preparation.



Bad weather is not an extenuating circumstance for cancellation.
