„Me and my husband stayed for a night and over all can’t complain for the pricing. The check in lady was very kind and helpful but the power outage caused the key cards not to work. She had to let us in every time but was there till 11pm and told us to call if we needed in after that she lived close. It wasn’t her fault but the doors DO lock behind you still giving you safety. We had a no smoking room with ashes in the floor and smelt like cigarettes. “

This was a great place for our first (but not last) visit to West Virginia.We toured a Ghost town, did the Bridge Walk and had some great food.It was awesome to come back here after a busy day and relax. „Nice secluded cabin in the woods but close the New River Gorge National Park. Cabin is well kept and has pretty much everything you would need. Cabin is pet friendly and has a bit on a grassy area for them. Owners are great host and respond to messages quickly.“

„My husband and I enjoyed our stay, but our 8 month old lab LOVED it! We enjoyed the horses coming by for a carrot now and then. The cabin was nice and I especially appreciated the bed and linens. Kitchen was as advertised and the hot tub was great!It’s in a great area for hiking which we did even though it rained a good bit while we were there.“

„We had a great experience during our week long stay at the Fern Creek Cabin. The cabin was ready and waiting when we arrived. It was very clean and was represented well in the listing and stocked with everything needed. We enjoyed the large hot tub almost every evening. „The property is an affordable option if you want to visit New River Gorge and not pay hundreds per night at the resort or tent camp in order to do so. For the price you get a clean, air conditioned place to stay with a basic kitchen and great shower, which is perfect for after a day of hiking or other activities. You can't walk to get anywhere and it's a 15-20 minute drive into town, so just plan accordingly. The host is very responsive and helpful. “
