The speakeasy in the hotel is the main attraction. It makes it convenient if you don't want to travel far. However, the main strip is just a few feet away, and you can get a meal or another drink at various other places on the main strip. “

„Upon arrival at The Carrick, there was a minor glitch. We were given keys to the room we had booked, but when we got to the room, it was apparent that housekeeping had not yet cleaned the room (i.e., beds not made, etc.). We went back to the front desk where they apologized and found us another room. It took about 5 minutes while they went to check out the new room before sending us there, but in the mean time we sat on the comfortable sofa in the lobby and enjoyed the snacks and cold drinks ...
