„Had a fantastic stay, kayaked up river each day and got into the vibe, floated back down and back to this beautiful place and recovered. The river is strong, definitely more than we were used to but worth the paddle to get up to Peacock Springs and on less strenuous day rt across the river to spring! The sturgeon’s jumping, and catfishing off the dock was awesome too. Highly recomend and will be back!“

„This house/cabin is PERFECTLY situated on the Ichetucknee River. Clean, comfortable… huge screened in porches. It took our family about 2 and a half hours to paddle on the (available) kayaks upriver into the State Park and to the midpoint launch, and an hour to float/paddle back. The river access is… such a treat, and the deck out at the edge was much enjoyed. We saw a couple manatees swim by, even in April, which was a surprise.“

„Very clean. Well stocked with cooking supplies. Beautiful balcony and view. Not well stocked with cleaning supplies to clean up after yourself like cleaning rags, paper towels, cleaning solution. Also, make sure you ask about the elevator and dock. These were damaged during the hurricane and it does not mentioned it in the listing. They were not available to use so be prepared to go up 3 flights of stairs and not have a boat slip. We had to pay for a boat slip at Sea Hag. “

„We had family ages 5 to 75 on this trip and we all had equal time fun and relaxation. Bird watching, fishing, swimming, and tubing… we did it all. Location is remote and quiet- exactly what we needed. It was also amazing to bring our dogs and see them having fun on vacation too. Some minor issues occurred while there, and the owners responded very quickly with care and action. Would recommend and return. “

„What a wonderful place to escape from the busyness of life. The house sits like it's on a peninsula-water views everywhere. The rush of the river is like constant white-noise, providing a wonderful ambiance to enjoy conversation, games, and landscape. If you are looking to kayak or paddleboard, come with experience and lifejackets, as while we were there,the river moved much to fast for anyone to paddle back upstream.“

„Finding this cozy cottage covered in trees and it's shady porch was just what I needed to get away from the city. It is very centrally located to many springs and beautiful natural areas and works as a great home base. It only 2 blocks from Ft. White, but you feel like you are out in the country. I LOVED having the windows open and not having to worry who was looking in. Really enjoyed the stay, also fenced yard great for dogs.“
