The host was very responsive, but there were a lot of amenities that were either broken/ didn’t work properly such as dishwasher, which didn’t do a good job cleaning the dishes, also, the shower hose in the master bathroom (holder was broke) faucet trickled in the upstairs bathroom and cold water didn’t work in the sink. Beautiful atmosphere, house beautiful, but beds that were stipulated as queen size, but were all full size, the only bed that was true to specifications was the master bedroom King size.

House was lovely, well appointed and furnished. Nice amenities, very clean and Giant kitchen. Owner/manager was quick to respond and very accommodating.The road to access the house and the gravel driveway may be challenging to some cars and the road requires nerves of steel to drive in stormy weather but we managed. Some on our party found the strong iron smell very off putting in the bathrooms/showers. We ended up buying bottled water to drink. Owner might consider having a water filter in the kitchen- on the sink, or even just a Brita for guests who aren’t accustomed to well water. Our guest who stayed in the Amish bedroom said she would have liked a mirror in the room.On the whole, this was a great house and perfect for our weekend. Thank you!

Above and Beyond

The mountains are way outside of our comfort zone yet the best choice for my birthday girl's trip. The 9 of us had a ball. The property is beautiful. Everything we expected. I had a medical emergency and Tammi did everything to help me. She was able to get my asthma medication delivered to me so I didn't have to go back down the mountain while it was dark. I will always remember that. Even the maintenance worker helped and made me feel comfortable. Me & the ladies enjoyed every bit of our time there. This trip is unforgettable for so many reasons. Wonderful house for a large group!

The house was great and checking in/communication was very easy. We even got to enjoy the Christmas tree! We made use of the movie room, hot tub, fireplace, and hiked trails nearby. The wifi was excellent, which can be rare! A few notes for future guests -- some of the cookware has seen better days and some standard items are missing, the beds are on the softer side (a matter of taste), and you might run into the odd ladybug inside.

54th Birthday R&R at the Tea Mountain Resort

Overall the stay was great ! The cabin was amazing.There were webs and many of my questions didn’t get answered prior to arrival, to better prepare us for our weekend, but everyone enjoyed our stay. The mattress in the downstairs bedroom was not comfortable, per my two daughters and we couldn’t locate a set of lights . You may not have reception..as half of our family could not use thier cell phones for calling out . I would most likely book this place again.. Some members are already looking for dates .💕

One of the best rentals in Shenandoah

I've been to many rentals in broader Shenandoah/Northwest Virginia area and this property is one of the best I've stayed at. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, appliances, utensils, tools, etc. and they weren't just flimsy plastic to throw away. The living was full of power reclining chairs with USB plugs. The house and property was gorgeous PLUS being setback from the road made you feel like you had gotten away from it all. I hope I can book this place again for a getaway with friends and family!!

Early Spring Stay

The property is very nice and as advertised. Very spacious and in a quiet, remote location. Went hiking nearby one day and just stayed on the property to enjoy the amenities another day. About 20 minutes from town where you can get all your supplies if you're just looking to stay on the property for the stay. Our entire group enjoyed it and would recommend it to others.

I went with a group of friends and this house was impressive! Plenty of space for a small group of friends to hang out. Close by to numerous wineries, the location was great. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a nice getaway with great accommodations.

Everything was ready to go and check in was super easy. The house had everything we needed and provided a great space for a get together with old friends. Getting into town takes 20 minutes but that’s to be expected when you pick a place in the mountains.

Perfect mountain retreat

This house was absolutely perfect for a group of 10 friends. Very spacious, lots of comfortable gathering areas. Tammy and her maintenance team (Donnie) were so communicative and helpful during our stay. The large kitchen was fantastic! Would definitely stay again. Awesome location and beautiful home

We selected this home as a home base for a friends hiking trip. It was perfect! The location was ideal. It is tucked away in the woods with plenty of privacy, but it is close enough to shopping and all of the trails we wanted to hike. The house was super clean and well furnished. If you cook, you will need to bring all condiments (salt, pepper etc.), but there are plenty of pots, pans and all needed appliances. We had an awesome time!

Awesome cabin in the mountains

My family, brothers, sister-in-laws and parents (10 total) booked this house for a long weekend away and we’re not disappointed. The house was great, tons of room with different entertainment areas and was very clean. Very quiet location in the woods with a nice drive to the residence. Would definitely recommend this house.

Great weekend away

Beautiful home and location, perfect for a weekend away. The place had a great layout with plenty of room for everyone to relax. The beds were comfortable and spacious, but most of the rooms upstairs had lots of stink bugs (dead and alive). There also seemed to be limited towels. The kitchen was great for a crowd. Plenty of pots and pans and table space. The only issue we had was that the ice maker and water dispenser were very slow. Overall, it was a wonderful time and getaway.
