„We enjoyed our stay. We wanted a quiet, peaceful, relaxing time; and that was what we had. We loved sitting on the porch watching the river flow past and enjoyed watching the barges. The breakfast was amazing. It was great food and such a large amount that the 2nd morning we shared one breakfast and was still full.“

„This was a great place to stay. More amenities than any other place I have been to. The only negative about the property is getting hit with an additional county tax that is not made apparent until after you book and pay. It was a small amount so it’s not a big deal but it should be included And mentioned upfront.“

„The views of the lake were beautiful! The houses were clean. There was a ton of room for the six of us adults that ended up going on our long weekend. There was a big problem with ants, I know it’s a problem this time of the year, I struggle with them at my house. I just wish that they hadn’t been there. We really enjoyed our time there and would stay again. “

„Wonderful venue for our family. Great deck space for entertaining outdoors with a very picturesque setting.Location to OU campus was very convenient.Several family members want to return sometime in the future.“

„A lovely place just down the street from the airy park with two days of activities. We loved walking down to the river front park and checking out the weekend events. We especially enjoyed dinner on the patio overlooking the river. Well decorated and cozy space. “

„We were in town attending a memorial for a local family member. The first floor rental was the perfect spot for our family. We had two other members of the family that were able to rent the second floor. We were able to see both rental units. Clean and what wonderful local art and history!The area was nice and quiet, the home charming. It was exactly what was needed, made us feel at home. We would recommend this rental to anyone wanting to stay in the area. Also check out the MothMan Museum. “

„Rented this “compound” as we like to call it for OU graduation! It’s a great area and the houses sleep a lot of people! We did have a flash flooding event with ended up with our sons car being under water up to the bumper! Then he fell into the overflowing drainage culvert and the water was over his head. He was pretty scraped up and freaked out but is ok! It could have been really bad. Do NoT park on the lower part of the property if there is a lot of rain! “

„This property was the best place for my family and pet. It was secluded and peaceful. Only people we seen were the ones who cut the grass. My family loved the relaxation and stress free environment.“

„The cabin was nice. The stairs are steep like they say. If you have a dog they might have a hard time getting up and down. It was pretty at night to sit and look at the stars. Overall it was a good place of you want to be in the woods. “
