„Rose Cottage had a small fridge but it was generously stocked for breakfast items for the 6 nights of our stay. Location is good. There was pet hair and pet odour on the sofa which we cleaned. The pillow protectors and pillows were stained and not very comfortable. Spa was good. Television was very small and not all channels could be received due to its age. An extra towel rail in the bathroom would have been handy given extra towels used for the spa and for swimming nearby. Rose Cottage ...

„Wombats. That's the review. I'm not sure how to make this easier for everyone but there are wonderful wombats around the property. They come right up to the accommodation. They LOVE eating the chestnuts that fall off the surrounding trees in autumn/winter. Best times are early evening after dark until about 9pm and then sporadically until about 4am. „Lyrebird cottages was set in a lovely tranquil location, Silver Wattle cottage was clean and comfortable. The breakfast provisions (eggs, bacon, bread, cereal, butter, jam, milk, juice) were great and the owners provided excellent information prior to/during our stay. We were fortunate enough to see the Autumn leaves, pick chestnuts from the property and see a few lyrebirds as well. I would definitely recommend Lyrebird cottages for a weekend away!“

„We booked the cottage for our friends as a joint gift/getaway for their 40th birthdays. Management were really accommodating, letting us get there before check-in and setup nibbles, hampers and some special goodies before our friends arrived. The photos do not do the property justice, it is much bigger than it looks, backs onto paddocks and a small creek and the bathroom is very luxurious. Highly recommend“
