Lakewood Bungalow & Sauna: Beach, Dock & Kayaks

Welcome to Lakewood Bungalow, a bright, fully renovated Vermont retreat across Route 14 from clear, spring-fed Woodbury Lake. With a sauna, shared beach and dock, kayaks and paddleboards, a screened porch, and lake views, it is an easy place to relax in every season.

THE BUNGALOW

This comfortable single-level home accommodates up to four guests. It has two bedrooms with queen beds, a sofa bed in the living room, one full bathroom, and an open-concept living and dining area.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, induction stove, oven, microwave, drip coffee maker, blender, cookware, and dining space for shared meals. You will also have air conditioning, fast Wi-Fi, a 55-inch smart TV, board games, an in-unit washer and dryer, and thoughtful supplies throughout the home.

RELAX AND ENJOY THE LAKE

Unwind in the sauna, drink your morning coffee on the screened porch or open deck, or cross Route 14 to the shared beach and dock. Guests may use the shared kayaks, paddleboards, life jackets, beach chairs, beach towels, and lawn games. The shared beach fire pit is a lovely spot for a quiet evening by the water.

The road has a 40 mph speed limit, so adults should supervise children and pets when crossing.

EXPLORE VERMONT

Woodbury is a peaceful base for hiking, mountain biking, paddling, fishing, cross-country skiing, and day trips to Hardwick, Montpelier, Stowe, Craftsbury, the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail, local farms, breweries, and markets.

GOOD TO KNOW

Cell service is limited, but the Wi-Fi is strong. Pets are welcome with prior approval and must be supervised outdoors. No parties, smoking indoors, or unregistered guests. Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 9:00 AM.

The shared beach and water equipment are also available to guests staying at Lakewood Lodge, the second rental on the property.
