Snowmobiling trip

The house was very nice along with the property itself, plenty of room to park and this place had a very nice hot tub that worked great!

Comfortable and Well Stocked Rental

Our family had a wonderful stay. Everything was in clean, working order and beds were really comfortable. The property (and guests) are well cared for by the host. Wonderful accommodations!

This is one of our better VRBO stays, the owners were excellent hosts, the property was accurately described and was in a beautiful location. Highly recommend.

Great family vacation home!

We absolutely loved our stay! We've traveled to the area many times and this house is one of my favorites. Every room is cozy and welcoming. There are also many thoughtful additions to make the stay great for families - kids items, dog supplies, plenty of dishes, etc...We will definitely be staying here again!

We had a fabulous time staying in the area. We had to cut our stay short but we’re so satisfied at how big it was. We loved having a lot of dishes and cups!

A great place to stay!

We really enjoyed our time here. The location is close to NMU so we got to spend quality time with our oldest who goes to school there. Even with heavy snow and cold temps, the driveway was plowed daily and the hot tub was impeccable!It's such a lovely area of Michigan. We highly recommend!

The house was plenty big enough for our family. We really enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit as well as the provided firewood! The location was perfect for us to be able head into Marquette and enjoy some local breweries and food, but also provided us a good starting point to head out into the woods and hike!

What a comfortable place to stay! We all enjoyed this home. I’ve never stayed in a rental with such a well stocked kitchen. Amy definitely goes above and beyond to make sure you have the comforts of home. I’d definitely stay here again. The home is very clean and the property is gorgeous. It’s also a short drive to town.

It had great space for all 7 of us. And a small dog. They really know how to have everything you need for family and friends. Loved the deck and hot tub, fire pit and the big yard. Lots of space and privacy.

Incredible home!

I cant say enough about how warm, cozy, spacious, and welcoming this house was! The property was perfect for the pups to romp. The wood work and decor were beautiful and each room invited relaxation and conversation. It was the most delightful place for our visiting group to stay! Quick check in and the host was very accommodating. I will definitely be staying here again!

We had an amazing visit in Marquette. We had a three generation stay for long weekend to attend Blueberry Fest! Just as pictured on website and perfect in all the small details. Fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, dishes etc. I personally loved that they had shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the three showers ready to go dispenser such a luxury. Washing machine was great. Dogs loved the large yard and them having dog bowls and blanketed ready to use. The bonfire pit was perfect and had wood such a nice treat. Extra fans in each room for those hot nights. The three bathrooms were also amazing and upgraded especially with three generations sharing bathrooms and showers. I could not think of one suggestion and we hope to book next Blueberry Fest 2027. Thanks for an amazing stay and so many awesome memories.

Very clean and well stocked vintage spot!

We loved this spot! Amy was so nice about my service dogs. The house is very well stocked and has a cool vintage vibe. Close to town and a very nice yard! We enjoyed the hot tub which was warm even in the cold! Thanks so much!

Close enough to get to Marquette for shopping and dining but still far enough out for room to run for a dog and to enjoy outdoor campfires and the hot tub. There is great outdoor seating for relaxing and conversations outdoors. Crispy white bed linens, lots of towels. Clean. Well equipped. We really enjoyed our time at this house.

Great place for weekend getaway

We couldn't have enjoyed our stay at the Northstar Lodge more! Very clean, cozy, and charming. Perfect central location to visit our family at NMU and explore all that the area has to offer. We loved the private large yard. Communication with Amy was prompt and seamless. She provided perfect instructions - no complaints! We would definitely stay here again!

Granddaughters baptism

Great home with lots of character! Plenty of space for family to gather. The kitchen had nice pots, pans and utensils. The hot tub is big and clean! So magical sitting out in the hot tub when the snow is falling. My recommendations would be to add a railing on the outside steps, more washcloths and kitchen towels.

Great Trip

This was a great find for our short trip to the Marquette area. A perfect launching spot for Presque Isle fun like Black Rocks cliff jumping and sunsets all the way over to kayaking at Pictured Rocks. Spacious, clean, with all the amenities of home. Hot tub, lots of games, cool fire pit with smores included, and great coffee bar. Amy was super responsive with our questions. Would definitely recommend North Star!

Perfectly relaxing!

If you want to all stay in one place and prepare meals together, this is your ideal place! We enjoyed hanging out on the porch and all of the different hang out spots are fun and cozy. I would suggest adding some games and directions on how to use the large coffee pot! There was everything you needed here to include fans for everyone! We would definitely book again!

Perfect Large Family Accommodations

This home provided ample space for large family accommodations with the four Queen bedrooms and large gathering areas.The hot tub and fire pit was a hit for the adults and the small children loved the outdoors for exploring and running. Note that the home, at this point, is not conducive to anyone with mobility issues. The home is well stocked and clean
