„If you are looking for a quick home away from home place to stay in Modesto this cute little house is the place you will feel happy you chose to stay at. Although it sits on a busy street there is a tall fence that blocks out the noise and makes it more secure in case of little children. It has all you need to make your stay here comfortableIt is really a clean home.“

„It's a perfect space to share with a large group of family and friends. The open living area is great, and the kitchen is well stocked with all the basic necessities for cooking, and entertaining. The deck is outstanding for entertaining and watching both the sun rise and sun set, and the standing heater is a bonus, especially for those chilly morning coffee clutches. Pet accommodations, too - also a bonus - but, no designated pet potty area on site, having to leash up and walk your pet(s) ...

„We spent a weekend in Discovery Bay, this location was excellent. The house was nice and the kitchen was well equipped.We rented a pontoon boat and explored the delta, the proximity to the fast water is great. I can only imagine that getting to fast water from one of the further spots could take 30 minutes so this location being just a few minutes to the lighthouse was very good. “

„We had a nice time at the Alpaca house. There were a few things not working properly at the time of our visit which was not ideal, but the house was clean and decorated beautifully and the exterior is very well taken care of. we enjoyed seeing the alpacas outside and I wish we would have had more time to schedule a tour to actually interact with them. Overall a very beautiful and peaceful place to stay. “

„The house was very nice. It worked out for our group who was in town for a sports tournament, and it was great for our dog with a large, fully fenced yard. The neighborhood is very nice to walk through and there is a great bakery about two blocks away that we walked to every morning. The only drawback there was that there tends to be a fair amount of loud traffic, IE big diesel pickups so if you are a very light sleeper make sure to bring ear plugs. But it was definitely not an all night long ...

„This a nice property in terms of location, host responsiveness, easy parking, and decor. However, there are a few things keeping me from giving it 5 stars. The beds are extremely firm. All 5 of us in our group found them quite uncomfortable. We also had an issue with operating the thermostat. It’s a digital unit that isn’t intuitive and doesn’t include any operating instructions. I felt bad that the AC guy who came out to the property late in the evening had to be the one to show us how to use ...

"The Holiday Inn Express and Suites Modesto is a solid place to stay that offered us a clean, comfortably furnished suite in which everything worked perfectly. There was also a very decent breakfast by American standards. The only thing that could be improved is the rigid mounting of the television directly opposite one of the two beds, which unfortunately did not allow the television to be swiveled. If you book a suite, you will certainly want to be able to watch TV from the seating area. Another problem with our room 316 on the top floor was that it was apparently directly under a large ventilation system on the roof. The result was constant noise in the bathroom, comparable to being in a jet plane. And even in the suite, a constant humming and low-frequency vibration of the floor was unmistakable. So our advice: feel free to stay here, this is a nice hotel, but avoid staying on the 3rd floor if possible."

"Schönes, neues Hotel am Stadtrand von Manteca, ideal als Ausgangspunkt für einen Tagesausflug in den Yosemite-Nationalpark oder einen Zwischenstopp auf dem Weg dorthin. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Da es das beste Hotel auf unserer Kalifornien-Rundreise war, haben wir gleich noch eine zweite Nacht drangehängt. Das Frühstück ist inbegriffen, allerdings kein Highlight. Leider USA-typisch nur Plastik-Besteck und Pappbecher. Daher Abzüge in der Umweltwertung, ansonsten in allen Punkten die Bestnote. Rundum empfehlenswert!"
