„Awesome stay on the Outer Banks!
Very clean appartement with ocean view, everything was good and the appartement had all one could ask for.
Specisl mentioning deserves the gully equiped kitchen and the wonderful welcome package.
Staff was super friendly especially in the evening st the checkin at the security gate and in tge office at checkout“

„We found a lot to love about Herbst Cottage! While the layout is a little unconventional (the huge master bedroom is the only direct route in and out of the house to the back decks and pool), the spaces were big enough for 10 people, and the places we were most interested in, which were the kitchen, backyard/pool, and beach access, were really great. Well equipped with the exception of broken dishwashers (both indoor and tiki bar were broken most of the week) and a leaking ice machine. Response ...

„The house was beautiful and right on the beach. There was plenty of room for everyone. Plenty of parking available. Wonderful views from every window in the main living area. Lots of balcony space and chairs. We all had enough space and the beach itself was never crowded. We would definitely stay here again. “

„We enjoyed our long weekend away at Stella Maris. There was plenty of room for a party of 7 adults. Only suggestion would be very minor upkeep in cleanliness (dusty vents, broom in the kitchen but no dust pan, scraps of old food in the utensils drawer). Otherwise the home was cozy, centrally located, and had gorgeous oceanfront views. Thank you for opening your home to us! “

„Kitchen was equipped with lots of large bowls and serving platters. Plenty of plates and flatware for a large group (14). The pool was great and the hot tub was fantastic. Grocery store and fantastic ice cream place within a few blocks walk. Beach access was just a block away. 2 refrigerators was nice to have. “

„Beautiful house, clean with all the essentials provided. It was a 2 min walk to beach access which was wonderful. The host provided beach essentials, bikes, etc. which made packing for the trip that much easier. I had a couple of questions since this was my first time booking through VRBO and the host was very quick to respond and wonderful to work with. Highly recommended. “

„House was clean and accurately depicted from the photos. Updated and perfectly located. I traveled with my two children, 11 and 9, so there was plenty of room for the 3 of us. Cooked most of our meals at the house. Beds were comfortable and smart TVs were great. One of the best VRBO rentals I have rented and there have been dozens over the years. We look forward to booking again!“

"Leider hatte das Zimmer nichts mit dem Foto auf der Webseite zu tun. Gezeigt werden die tollen Zimmer mit Strandblick. Wir hatten ein Zimmer auf der anderen Straßenseite. In 4 Tagen wurden die Handtücher nicht einmal gewechselt und auch das Zimmer nicht gereinigt. Eine Renovierung ist dringend erforderlich. Ich würde eher davon abraten."

"The rug is very old, stains on all chairs, 3 pillows covers had to be replaced because they had make up and dirt on them. The other room we reserved didn't have any pillowcases on them. Bathtub had rust in diverse places. Air conditioner was very loud and right on one bed and blew the cold air directly on the bed. After turning off the AC you could still hear the AC from outside of the other rooms. Breakfast was Cookies, Muffins, prepacked fruit salad and Joghurt."
